Taco bueno was my first job in high school. The food quality was amazing back in 2016, but after cost cutting and covid, they were never the same. The food tastes like a salty mush now.
Yeah, kinda like how I felt about Chipotle about 10 years ago. I've always preferred Moe's Southwestern Grill or Qdoba, but it almost seems like wherever Chipotle opens up, you'll wind up finding those other two abandoning their stores.
They have been expanding back into the Houston area recently. Katy and Baytown have new locations. They had Conroe and Woodlands locations that closed about a decade ago so it is good to see them back in the area.

The Mecca Taco B on South 1st Ruled in 1968-1986 Birth to college at Angelo. My momma worked at TB. I have to say. They manager in Abilene, TX on North 1st is doing a damm good job. The food is delicious.. Give her a raise.
