You are a lifesaver! My coworker is a retired mechanic and he managed to get the clip off but couldn't remove the blade. This vid helped enormously! Nothing's ever simple... -.-

I struggled for 10 minutes trying to figure out the instructions on the package compared to trying to loosen the assembly. I searched on RUclips, found your video, 15-20 seconds tops and it was finished! Thank you, this was great! Five stars to you!!!

After 15 minutes and almost braking the wiper arm, I finally thought to check the internet for help. Nothing in the owner's manual. With your video it took less that a minute. Simple as pie. Many thanks.

Thanks Richard It is people like you that make internet a place of learning and sharing knowledge. I just watched your video and changed the rear viper of my Rav4 that was a mystery to replace until I watched your video.
    Thanks a million,

    Richard,
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I am sure many other people thank you as well but don't get the chance to leave a post. I fought with it first but then said, let's see if someone posted a video. I took longer to watch the video than run back to the garage and change the assembly.

Thanks, this is the second time I've followed your instructions and it has worked like a charm. One of the great mysteries of car mechanics solved! I also took your recommendation and got the TRICO 12A blade. A perfect fit. A small tip: I found the TRICO blade for cheaper on Ebay. Fellow RUclipsrs may want to do that. Thanks again for posting!

Richard. Thanks very much. Same as on my 2010 RAV4. No mention of this in Toyota manual. Also, instructions on NAPA made no mention of clip at base of arm. (They -- NAPA -- show 3 ways, all wrong, of the way blade assembly connects to arm.) Your RUclips video was a great help. Toyota and NAPA should be ashamed! Thanks again.
