    Just wanted to say a big Thank you Thomas for all your excellent videos 👍 you make me feel very sad, seeing your beautiful country and the great times your having, whilst I’m unable to get there. But you also make happy, because I know one day, I’ll manage to get the time to travel over to Norway and see it with my own eyes and it’s people like you who have juvenile me the inspiration to do it.

    One of my 'bucket list' rides when I retire is spend a month in the Alps region of Europe. Thanks to you I MUST add Norway to the list! Another beautiful, breathtaking segment!

    This is the perfect appetizer for September. Counting the days and you are presenting new POI for my trip. Need to change and adapt my planned route a little bit I guess. I hope the weather gods will be on my side for the first week in September that I don’t freeze my a... off in my tent ;-)

    Good news out of Norway last Friday letting us dutchies in again starting tomorrow, I'll start my trip starting from Stavanger soon and going via a loop and some stops to Bergen :)

      Thank you Peter 😊 i really appreciate it mate. There is no secret. It is just a crazy amount of playstation and Xbox in the muscle memory. So flying the drone with the controller feels really natural. And you just have to practise. Look at other content, see what looks good and try to replicate it 😇 Cheers

    Is it normal to have that much snow still on the ground in July?

      Yes, in the mountains it is normal. Down at sea level there is no snow, but over 600 meters you will see snow like this, and many meters high snow the higher up you go. Thats why alot of the mountain roads are closed in the beginning of summer here in Norway 👍🏻

    Lovely, Fv13 over Gaularfjell is one of my favourite way to ride. A little less traffic than trollstigen. We have stayed at Hov Hyttegrend twice, close to the waterfall.
    By the way, a question that I have pondered a lot about, Trollstigen, is it troll path or troll ladder.

      Gaularfjell is easy to forget, but are one of my favourit here on the west coast! Well, Trollstigen was called «stigen» many years ago! When they started the whole Troll Wall i think they adapted the name so it is Troll Ladder directly translated 😉👏🏻 both places are great! With spectacular nature

    I pitched my tent on that very spot your bike is parked last year almost to the date. You are 368 days behind me, not taking editing into account. I love recognising roads and campsites, and get frustrated that i apparently missed most of what you show in your videos. ´Guess i have to come back. :D

      I was at the same place one year ago myself 🤣 Spend some day's there with my family and hiking in the mountains. I will try to add more tips on tour in my next series or videos.     Thanks again Thomas for sharing beautiful sceneries from your home country! With all the miles you rode on your 790 R, did you upgrade the seat? On my 790 R, after 1 hour I have to stop and stretch a bit.

      Hello mate 😊 I did not upgrade my seat, i find it verry good for my use. In the beginning, coming from the 1200 GSA and seat concept on a 690 enduro r. I found the seat different, and not sure if i liked it or not. But after getting used to how the seat is (if that make sense) i kinda like it. How much milage do you have on yours? I know this is a individual thing, but try to give it some time 👍🏻

      @@tshansen 185 miles. Brand new bike (2 weeks). Just installed the seat concept. Now I just have to find time to test the seat on a long drive. Will install the cruise control and heating grip next Tue. Zumo XT and the Ram mount should arrive today. It will be the weekend project!

    I have 3 weeks of holidays in August and September, initially I was planning a trip to the alps but that is out of question now, thanks to you. I will drive around from south to north Norway. I want to go on all the national tourist roads in Norway. Do you think that would be a nice trip or should I do it differently ? Your answer will be very much appreciated.

      I think that will be a really nice trip... In August and September, fall has started in some of the mountain areas and you will have beautiful colors all over. The National tourist roads are nice to ride all year around. So you can't go wrong with that. I can provide pointers on rutes or places to see in certain areas if you like 👍🏻

      Stay clear of the E-roads. Do the small roads whenever possible. Focus on fjords and mountains. Don´t believe you can "do Norway" in tree weeks, you can not. If you try, you´ll end up doing all the E-roads. Lots of people do just that, and they still think that it was all wonderful. They have no idea what they missed along the way.

    At what for a time you drive this complete Tour? You have no Moskitos?? Your Drauma is from last year? I think is better as the new from 2020? Next year i want to drive to Norway and I need e good Hammock, is die new drauma a good Hammock? What would you think??

      This tour was from 20. May to 11 of june! There is no mosquitos this early in this part of Norway 👍🏻 my amok draumr is the newest version and yes it is the best hammock on the market 🔥

      🤣🤣 there are some things that just moves something in my Soul! Mountains and fjords! It is just something about it, so i get amazed by scenic places 😂 yes, most of the east side of Norway is just flat and mainly forest! Not much to see but some great gravel roads

      @@tshansen Dine optagelser er flotte og rystelser generer mig ikke. Håndholdt kan du få forskellige hjælpemidler til at fikse det. Gopro 7 er et overraskende godt kamera.

      @@JanAndersenBHMP Ja, man har mange eksempel på glidecam eller gimbal, men de er stor og vanskelig å få med seg på tur. Men litt rørelse er bare helt greit så lenge man driver på slikt nivå (tenker jeg)

      @@tshansen Nice, I had this drone on my wish-list, but the new EU-regulations for drone flying in Europe doesn't make it easy. I don't know if I want to make all the registration and test poop...

      I read a sign by the waterfall some years ago saying they stored bodies there over night while getting them down to church.@@tshansen
