Busisiwe Mkhwebane's urgent application

The High Court in Pretoria is currently hearing former Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane's urgent application against the Public Protector's office, which she says was supposed to have paid her a multi-million rand gratuity.
However, the office of the Public Protector, headed by Advocate Kholeka Gcaleka, contends that Mkhwebane is not entitled to a gratuity.
Mkhwebane was impeached from office last year for misconduct and incompetence following a Section 194 parliamentary inquiry.
