Very cool idea, one question, wouldn't the weight of the"float" be pretty much the same, as in , I want to make 10 of these, I should be able to know the weight of the float, seems like it would be the same, only difference being how much water is displaced. How do you figure that out? I am guessing trial and error? Thanks for the video, and any information you share!!!
Too many variables to give specifics for home DIY. Water density will change depending on how much detergent is used, foam densities vary, ballast weight varies, etc. Easiest to just balance on a case by case basis. Even then, this device will gradually stop working due to evaporation, which will increase the density of the water.
