- the Glass Structure series is a collection of short compositions that didn't quite make it as fully-made tracks, resurrected into what will later be used as new background music. In a sea of sentient crystalline form, one crack in the symmetry is all it takes for everything else to start falling apart around it. Within it is a burst of energy, either extremely violent or rapidly fading out in wisps and putrid smoke.
was just having a "make your own samples and somehow make them extremely intimidating" moment. and then this thing was made.

I have just discovered your glass Structures and I immediately felt I needed to present them to my players as Themes for "NPCs" (I am a Dungeon Master for DnD)
The Glass Structures are nicely loopable and also show emotions very well.
I hope that none of my players see this (until they encounter the NPC) because:
I will "give" this track to an NPC called Melody, Spirit of Harmony. Melody is humanoid Creature closely representing a human, of unknown origin, watching over the Eternal Oasis, a place where every bit of hostility gets washed away and harmony is instilled into those who bathe in it.
However she is also in love and in a relationship with another NPC, The Mortal God of Light and Dark, Hikayami. At one point Hikayami will lead his army into battle with another Mortal God who seeks to destroy Hikayami.
That Mortal God, Steltar, hates Hikayami because he is much stronger than Steltar. In the battle, or war to be exact, Steltar uses an unknown power to weaken Hikayami so that Steltar will be able to kill him.
Hikayami´s death basically "shatters" Melody as a whole. She becomes seemingly enraged and seeks the demise of Steltar. Her inner emotions however resemble more of a void. She basically feels empty as though everything she has lived and experienced suddenly doesnt have value or meaning anymore.
I want to give Melody this as a theme because of her being thrown out of harmony.
The result of all that is her being known after the war as Melody, Shattered Spirit of Dissonance and her leaving the eternal Oasis to fight Steltar.
I was thinking these would be good for D&D too!

God, i love this. Probably my favorite glass structure so far. The unevenness of the rhythm and the way that the sound is crisp and sharp really sell the vibe. gonna be listening to this for quite a while
Thought this track was decent at first, then coming back to this track after discovering Aphex Twin, I gotta say this grew on me WAY more, and might actually be my new favorite Glass Structure track! Nice job on this track, Dokuro! Can’t wait for the release of Glass Structures Vol. 2 on Bandcamp!

I don’t know if you’ll see this but thank you for all these tracks you produced . I listen to these everyday and they help me cope with a lot of pain . I don’t thank celebrities or video games for easing pain . I really love these sounds and messages you put in these tracks .

Have you got any plans to make seamless loops of these in the future? These are really good as background music (they do their jobs well) and it would be nice to have a version without the fade out at the end.
just wish there was a way to neatly preserve the intro...
@@DMDOKURO maybe have a separate export of the exact loop so that people can just in their video editing program or whatever, put the original song with the intro, and then ctrl c ctrl v the loop over and over as many times as needed
or export a 15 min version and leave it just in the description, no need the extra work of uploading to youtube or something, i doubt anyone normally needs more than 15 min of any loop...
@@guillex6443 you might be able to try yourself by just cutting out the intro. using audacity or something to edit the file and just shorten it

Mosaic paintings are often made using multiple shards of glass often for portraits or illustrations of places or people.
This one is shifting constantly.

Holy hell. I really Like this one. Not just because its a banger, but as to what it implies. Something that's not quite broken, yet not quite complete. "shattered" implies that it was something whole to begin with, but how do you know that for sure? and what does it mean to be shattered or (shattering)? and how can you tel? You can describe it with words, feelings and metaphors but can language really define it? Its a liminal space in between states of being. One that can invoke curiosity, lament or dread....
Sorry ^^', I'm a nerd for this type of stuff. This track really got my mind thinking and going with ideas, and for that I appreciate it m8. Keep being awesome, and I wish you luck :3

giving us or others a hope that mostly is false and has nothing to do with the one struggle within us all to be solved, is not the right thing to do in my opinion. if your music has become better, did you get yourself only worse? wasn't there any other stuff that would make you feel better about yourself, not to mention about your communication with people?
it's so hard to understand the musician's feelings and thoughts like yours tbh but we still try to, despite everything... I don't even know what to do if I'll BE the one in the future. having no idea tbh about how you even mask yourself and the frustration that you can show only in your music. Isn't there any possibility/opportunity to free yourself from that curse of your life? if some of us do have the curse (such as autism and stuff), what should we do then...
I personally will never stop supporting you and in your work too. Because you still keep up and we all are glad to see you here once again. but that doesn't mean you're some kind of "machine" idk. You're a human like us y'know...
all were taught to see autism as a curse. we were taught to live with that "curse" in the false hope that it would be lifted if we were just "normal" enough.

@@DMDOKURO you know, even though you feel as if it's a curse, there are still some who are willing to talk with you about your problems, talk with you about whats on your mind, or just give emotional support. Hell, my best friend is autistic and he's an amazing person. Sure, he's different from everyone else but that's why he's so unique, and such a good person once you get to really know him. I don't think you should block out others willing to help out and maybe talk to a few people about it, there's always someone, no matter where they may be.

It seems unfair to me that although autistic people have contributed so much to technological progress, we're despised over silly things such as missing social cues. It almost feels as if "social skills" are specifically designed to cause problems for us. Anyone who claims they have good "social skills" is a massively dishonest person who tells others what they like to hear rather than the truth. Even among neurotypical people, social cues cause misunderstanding. They're a form of non-mathematical encryption, there's no other way to see them. They say nothing that cannot be said with words. Encryption exists to hide information from a third party. We're that third party, aren't we? Perhaps I'm wrong and they have some other reason for social cues to exist that is simply beyond me because I am too logical and honest. I would doubt it's a faster way for them to convey information, after all they could simply talk faster, but perhaps their brains do better when receiving information from multiple sources rather than one. Maybe they are actually less emotionally competent than us, and don't understand how to put their emotions into words, so they have silly social cues. But then we have the issue of psychologists seeing us as somehow messed up. The only disadvantage to high functioning autism is trouble communicating with neurotypical people. I can communicate with other autistic people perfectly fine. Additionally, high functioning autism results in a much higher IQ and propensity to innovate. So what's their problem with us? Perhaps they have no ill will, perhaps they are just trying to give us an on-paper excuse for our difficulty in dealing with neurotypical people, but if that's the case they are certainly misguided in trying to find a cure. Maybe we're just like two different mental-species that cannot understand each-other's motivations. But is this really coincidence? Perhaps the people ruling society dislike us because we can't be easily turned into obedient little followers. I think that's very likely. What's the solution though? We communicate with each other just fine, but not with neurotypical people. Maybe we should all group together and build our own nation. It would be funny to watch the neurotypical people flounder without anyone to innovate. They weren't thankful they had us. I think that due to women being less likely to be autistic, there would be an absence of women though. That could pose an issue. Maybe that's the reason more intelligent people are less likely to have children. Anyways, it feels like society is taking advantage of us. We keep giving them things, and they keep treating us like trash. I'd be interested to hear your opinions, but more interested in a solution if you have one. Any ideas?
