"you can be so friendly and you have no friends" the golden quote. I am the kind of friend that lots of people come to for advice (if you want unfiltered truth, I gatchu) but I pray to keep improving on myself. Asy this video is a treasure mehn, it will never get old!
Exactly!! I try to always be conscious that most people coming around are not necessarily long term friends. As far as advice goes, I’m ever ready to dish out. 😁😁
May we be the type of friends our friends need and may the Holy Spirit grant us discernment to spot genuine and fake friendships.
However, never let expectations take centre stage because that’s where heartbreak begins 🙏🏾.

It’s actually the expectation that is the problem cos without that, most people won’t feel betrayed or hurt by a fake friend.
I had a colleague that we were 'office friends' She was working for me to get sacked while pretending to be my paddy. Thank God I am very spiritually sensitive so her plan did not work intact they sacked her . She was the one that used her mouth to come and tell me all her waka and what she did lol.

Friends matter tire me, i am that friend who like friend zoning people. I do not call but if you call me i will be so happy, i only call when am sure i have something important to talk about....My reason, i am a loyal friend, i do not like to attach myself to a friend that will also have another bestie, i am emotional so i will not like friends to use it as my weak point. I do not expect anything from anyone and that makes me to do things to an extent. But really i have regrets, sometimes i feel like having someone who i can relate with, and share stuffs with, when i am in need ,i bearly have anyone to call for help ,it really hurts. But then, i love myself

@Ada very very true. I’m not very expressive emotionally, so I don’t expect anything from anyone. My main circle is really tight, that’s people I can gist with. As for sharing problems, mehnnn it’s very hard for me to open up. I just try to solve it myself. Cos I’m used to being the solution provider and sometimes it hurts to not have someone like that but I also think it’s cause I don’t like to share.🤷🏾♀️ May God help us all🙏🏾🙏🏾
@Obioma 😂😂😂 You can never be too safe. Most times it’s for the best. Then you’d have acquaintances that you share the same visions with. That way you don’t expect anything from them beyond the similar discussions around vision and business
@@AsyDarlyn Exactly my dear, I have acquaintances, and the regular ones we call friends, we chat, gist but when it comes to personal matters, i keep it to myself cos I have realized that somtimes they tell me their problems and I give solution to it but when it comes to mine, instead of helping they rather use it against me, so I stoped telling anybody abt my personal issues and God has been helping me solve it myself. I just haven't gotten that friend that I can rely on totally as in, you know what I mean!
I am glad that i am not alone in this, i thought i am a rare specie...How can you be a problem solver, everyone calls you when they are in need or troubled but when i am in same need they only laugh out loud, none will be serious with you, or they even start blaming you instead of bringing solutions.
I like my circle of friends very small. I am either 100% in or out for my friendships. My true friends know themselves.

I have reached my friendship quota. I also keep my circle small and close, however I move with the notion that everyone is replaceable. It’s also important to periodically review your friends and those you have around you about how they make you feel and what purpose you serve in each other’s lives, because later with time you tend to outgrow people.

Asy, i am the one God said you should talk to. God Bless you for this wonderful message this morning. Eh ! I don chop shege for this life wey i don enter. With the experiences i have gotten so far with this so called friends has made me to just stay on my own, like not relating so much with people. Because people are bad.
Someone can be smiling, eating, laughing all with you. But eh ! If you get to open or see the heart of that person towards you ... You will be shocked ...
Let me share this story of mine.
In my church, i had childhood friends. You know that kind of scenario, we all grew up together.
So immediately each one gets to the university they just stop talking to me. Amongst them i was the youngest(one-three years age difference). I even had to walk up to one of them to ask if i had offended her. The snubbing and attitude was unbearable. I went as far as talking to her elder sister to complain to her. To help me talk to her. Long story cut short. Few years later she walked up to me and asked me to be on her train. I said yes. I was happy for her. Brethren, after the wedding this girl continued the snub. Eh ! It's a long story ! Even the one that i was talking to who is also in the same group of childhood friends and also acclaimed best friend ... Suddenly stopped talking to me now and I'm like. What is happening ? What did i do wrong ? If you're truly a friend and you think i offended you, can't you tell me ? I was ready to say sorry, even if i knew within me i didn't wrong anyone. Why ? Because i value friendship a lot. Even up to the point i started feeling i had a problem.
But judging now i know deep within me i didn't wrong or offend anyone. So I'm not bordered. It's a long story for you all to understand. I'm trying to heal right now. Because you know what i just realized how foolish i was begging for friendship in a place where there's none. That's the worst thing to do "to beg for friendship"
It's painful especially if you did trust such persons. If i start talking in details, you won't go anyway. It's so long that it needs to be inform of a video.
My mum will say things happen for you to become a better person and not that you're the problem.

I can totally relate to this topic. I was recently scammed by a so called friend that I knew since childhood. He introduce a business, which I didn't hesitate to join bcos I felt I know him too well. Moreover he is into various businesses and he is doing great in them. My sister, na so he japa with my hard earned money oo, I was so shocked, to cry sef hard me.
