good collection of vids. so glad to see how many of your films were of steam engines. so glad that these beautiful pieces of living history are still running the way that god intended instead of being in a museum, dead and cold. may that be the case for a long time coming.
The Black 5s did it for me not just because they look stunning and it was so well filmed but because the moment I watched this memories of me asking my dad as a boy what his favorite loco was and his reply was instantly Black 5s now I know why bless him. Thank you and yes definitely number one slot you just know it .
Fantastic video compilation Justin! Class 66, ten of my most favourite diesels in a row at 2:50 !!! It's a pity you left railway videography :( Any seconds thoughts?
R Bousfield The train was being steam heated and this was a bit of steam leaking from the back of the coach. Happened a lot with steam heat trains and wasn't a fault, you would still have a reasonably warm carriage. 😀
Interesting videos and I liked the guy running around opening the gates to the road old style. Shame you have decided to give up on train videos since you made good ones; does it have to be such a black and white decision? Perhaps you could occasionally add a video since I assume you are not removing your YT account.
Photos suck! Sound and motion is where it's at! You could do both... set up shot for vid and leave it running then use whatever still cam you've got to get the photos... just sayin... I saw a vid of the aftermath of one of those engines from your #7 which had rammed into the back of a freight and was wedged up between the freight car it ran over and a bridge they were both under. I believe the engine was recently fresh off the train ferry from Spain, where they were made.
Diesel trains actually contribute far more pollution than steam trains, what you see coming out of the stack on a steam train is actually steam. They are very efficient and clean to run. Diesel fumes are far more harmful to the environment.
0:24 what a sound!
That double black at the end was terrific. Thanks for posting.
Karim is right! There's no sight like two of them to make the blood flow faster!!
Top for me, was 31 and 52 class diesel locomotive and the Steam Passenger locomotives. Beautiful.
Superb shots ! 👍🏻
Definitely agree with the Black 5s being no. 1, but the string of sheds looked very impressive due to the combined power !
Great set of clips. Nice mix.
10 sheds... The train that just keeps giving,,, Great.
Brilliant train videos, thank you

Very great videos Justin, thumbs up :)
Trains are cool 😎
Staggering footage. Pity that you have left filming. Thank you for sharing.
Tangmere & the Black Fives looked fantastic
0:11 still cleaner than a VW Diesel
These are amazing. Number 6 sure did show some mixed traffic right there,

Hola, que hermoso vídeo amo los trenes Ingleses, las estaciones y el paisaje , gracias.
Brilliant.
Great compilation. Very well captured
Worth seeing if only for the two Black Fives at the end!!!!!If the poms did something really well, it was building a steam locomotive.
excellent thank you
Damn that thing on the first clip is a true dirty diesel
In all seriousness, all that clag is probably not doing any good to the reliability or otherwise lifespan of the engine.
You just don't get lovely pollution like that these days thanks to the hinderance and sabotage agency, ooopss, sorry, health and safety agency
i Well looked after engine even of that age would be pumping out minimal amounts of crap compared to this, a very neglected engine in this video.
Fabulous selection Julian !
2:55 Wow that one was a good one
Amazing video.... great captures .... sorry that you are no longer filming trains.... but I can bet you stills are well worth seeing.
Splendid video thanks :)
Impressive shots all round mate.
brilliant, thank you for sharing.
Shame you gave up spotting, you really had something there.Thank you.
Hello mate, really enjoyed the video. Was wondering if you knew the time for the 37s on the wagons?
What are those yellow Network Rail sets used for?
That 31 looked like it was on fire 😃. Great stuff.
Martin The Smoggy #UTB 1876 B.B.
#4 WINNER! Loved it!
5:30 Is Epic!
Wow so long
On the last video, the double Black 5’s, can you tell me why there was steam coming out of the end carriage? Thanks
excellent video Justin.im done the same myself since with doing photography.
+George Browning Many thanks George. :)
The 31 seemed more on fire than clagging. Enjoyed watching it nonetheless. Good video. .
Excellent. Thank you :D
All great videos but like the Class 31 the best, what a display!!!!!!
Nice video 👍

8:27 Haha, lucky you didn't get bowled!
0:28 look at how he oiled
what dose that mean
oil is slippery and what I mean Is he smoked black oil becuase he was going
maybe wrong answer
Nice video.
COOL
Crikey, 10x66s. There must be some amount of power in that little lot. Somewhere around 30,000hp?
i have got to ride #5 ! Does anybody know who the engineers are in the locomotive ?
What is the reason for those yellow painted trains? The 73s are amazing.
Marc Conyard the yellow stands out to track workers better. Just an added safety feature.
There also operated by Network Rail..
Maybe the turbo will catch up next year ...
8:09
race on a rails
super great video bro
Why is there steam coming out of the last carriage, on the last clip?

Thanks!

31233 definitely doesn’t look very good! It has been in service for 64 years though, so I really can’t complain
LIKE #1000!!!

Why was there 10 locos together anyone????
I bet Greenpeace love that first train...
Oh come on, you can still film trains if you want!
I think for No7 only video will suffice.
No.9 The power of a underdog.............The power of 'A' underdog! What school (if any) did you go to?
Unnecessary insult there but yes I realise it's a grammar mistake now.
@@justinfoulger Sorry Justin, meant only as a Josh. (have given a Like)
Why do most trains i UK looks like they were built in the 50's?
Privateer Boucher , time to revisit Specsavers !

20. 37. 40. 55, otherwise not a proper diesel and as for showing a Southern Spam can, only 3 companies counted, LMS gwr and lner
about time the dirty noisy, stinking steam trains were banned, how disgusting a sight and sound, what pollution !

Also they are beautiful to the eyes and ears. I don't know what you are seeing/hearing
Ok, troll.
Did not enjoy this at all. Sorry! 0/10
