Hugh had 80 stitches in his nose from having the cancer removed and directly after filming for this he had to rush back to his doctor to have them re done, that's why he cleaned the side of his nose, he started to bleed from the stitches coming out.

Nice video. Hugh is the greatest showmen. When you can light a fire under 25 to 30 singers singing their best and with such emotion. He inspired a whole room and sacrificed his well being for the sake of the show. He's the greatest superhero (Logan) and the greatest showmen on earth.

All they had to do was remove the patch of cancer it had not spread anywhere. He ripped all of his stitches out doing that song. If you watch he kept touching his nose. He could feel it bleeding and just couldn't tell from where. He had to go to hospital right after and had to have all the stitches put back in.
