I have set aside almost $200k for that. Having issues now with how to allocate capital, and to know if my projections are right based on technical observations.

I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for future, unfortunately l'm a complete noob.
True, A lot of folks downplay the role of professionals until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.

I grew up in Mexican poverty, my parents immigrated to the US when I was 5. Grew up in a trailer full of holes, my dad became an alcoholic and I didn't have anyone to look up to. After the recession I decided I didn't want to live like my parents and I went to school full time while working 90-100 hours a week. I achieved my goal. The problem is that after chasing my goal for 10 years, now I'm having trouble figuring out what next? Last 5 years I feel empty, money has just become a thing. Built a family and they have everything I didn't and have none of the worries that I did. Although I'm grateful for that. Personally inside I feel lost. I've lost my spark as I have nothing to chase. My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.

Im just tired of always having the same damn problems and it's always because I dont have enough $$. I watched my mom struggle, now I'm struggling. One thing you are overlooking because of your background is the opportunities afforded to the elite. It is not about their ambition it is about their track which signals to other elites who grant them opportunities. You mitigated this by going the entrepreneurial route. And thankfully you made it. Most elite will not have work as hard as you opportunities are afforded to them once they graduate from their elite school.

The problem with listing the 4 things Joshua talks about, it won't really do anyone much good unless you hear him go into detail about each of those things. That list you posted is very empty by itself.
I love this recommendations. Also, some of the non-tech that I think are positioned to go really up are Home Depot, Delta Airlines, Pool Corp, etc. It's summer anyway. I have set aside almost $200k for that. Having issues now with how to allocate capital, and to know if my projections are right based on technical observations.

Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. I grew up in Mexican poverty, my parents immigrated to the US when I was 5. Grew up in a trailer full of holes, my dad became an alcoholic and I didn't have anyone to look up to. After the recession I decided I didn't want to live like my parents and I went to school full time while working 90-100 hours a week.
I achieved my goal. The problem is that after chasing my goal for 10 years, now I'm having trouble figuring out what next? Last 5 years I feel empty, money has just become a thing.
