I was a huge fan of the AMG 43 lineup as those vehicles were great performance values. The 53 AMGs are now taking over and this 2021 Mercedes CLS 53 is an excellent amount of performance for everyday driving. I just wish the suspension was a little more forgiving.

I can't tell apart the Benz product line now. This looks like a CLA and E class
In photos and videos its hard to distinguish in person the differences are more evident

Another comprehensive review, a fine balance between luxury, looks and performance. Ray Donovan would have rolled around in one of these bad boys had there been a series 8!

I think Mercedes does a great job with their 6 cylinder exhaust notes. Even the 43s have a great burble with some awesome pops
I loved the 43 lineup great value for sure now this 53 lineup is taking over glad the inline 6 has so much character

Im still in love with the 2014 e63 being a young guy filled in a world with golf r and s3 along with others it gives me sense of individuality and the love of beauty

I've loved the CLS since the 1st gen and it's still superior to its BMW and Audi counterparts but the AMG GT63 would be my 1st choice.. Great review 👏🏾👌🏾👏🏾✊🏾

In settings > system > "LINGUATRONIC", you can disable "Hi Mercedes".
(You will still be able use through steering wheel switch)

Do you think 4 door coupes are quickly dying out in 2021? It's such a niche segment and the only unique selling point is the coupe slope line.
Yes paying more for less will not last long
besides that screen situation where they sit side to side (i dont like that) and that plastidipped rear "difuser" wich could be made way nicer i like what i see but if you dont like harsh rides just go for a non AMG CLS
CLS450 is more than enough for the streets for sure
This looks so much nicer than GT 4 door (which I really don’t understand the point of at all it’s literally a CLS 2.0)

Oh its no where near V8 levels 😆 but it has its own unique tone to it and I believe to be one of the best sounding 6 cylinders out there trumping the BMW inline 6 in my opinion

Yea its really unfortunate BMW has all these great engine architectures, and nice performance and speed but they can't get the sound right so unfortunate
I love the 2018 and 2021 Mercedes s63(inclusive of the s class coupe variants), 2020 cla 45 amg, the 2020/2021 cls 53 amg, 2017 cls 63s, 2021 the GT 4door 63s amg coupe, the 2015 BMW m6 grand coupe, the 2017 and the 2021 audi rs7 really love all these cars 100% equally I don't prefer any over the other they are all just sexy luxurious and sporty

That I will add, interior looks great. Not the best quality wise, like you said certain trim creaks. Hollow feeling as well. It’s eye candy though, much nicer looking then traditional BMW gut. But the BMW is more solid interior wise.
Yea hollow is a good way to describe its very strange right? No idea why Benz panels feel like that. This is why the S class is my most favorite benz in the lineup
@@MeynMotorGroup Yeah my folks had an E43. And the interior was just like that. Looked great, but just didn’t come off as super expensive once you spent time in the car. The S class is pinnacle. You’re def paying for it though. The new one is a pricey rig.

@@MeynMotorGroup Oh yeah, they def do not have as good of deals. BMW def lease out better, more support/incentives overall. Let’s be honest, most people lease these cars. Which makes sense, because would never want these cars out of warranty. The M550 I leased had a slightly higher msrp then the CLS. I’m at $115 less a month, comparable terms. And Benz was a 2020 left over. Dealer was whoring the car out and still leased worse. Because of the residual.
Exactly correct my friend and you have first hand experience that really is how things go, this is why I want to do some new BMW reviews but so hard for me to get them in my area. People need to know BMWs are more accessible to normal humans than they think
Just wish they didn’t add on those rear bumper pods or whatever you call them left and right of the tag. European models don’t have them.

Yes, would get an S Klass (went German).... I absolutely hate the headlights and the tails! You know where I am going.... A Klass
S class is def amazing
if its reliable I would buy it because this car actually depreciates hard, like a cls63 from 13ish are 30000ish dollars now. However, even that car is not reliable at least it has a v8, this one is like a twin charge hybrid v6, which sounds too complicated therefore I predict it to be not very reliable.
I thought people learned to stop associating German with reliability a long time ago. Start associating with LEASE. Problems solved

Strange they toned down the styling and made it look like a CLA.
There was a time the CLS was unique and cool but now a days it looks like elongated A-Class
Almost every German car adopts this formula but in person these cars have a unique presence not shared with the smaller cars
