Getting to stay in a historical castle is a dream! All the coastal views are so scenic and beautiful. I'd like to see people actually try and use the baths. So quirky and unique!
Haha! thanks guys, we are definitely going to go back at low tide and jump in the baths. We'll let you know if we end up posting it on Instagram or RUclips Shorts 😉
Loved this vlog .. that castle is such a unique place to stay and what a bonus to have a secluded outdoor bath and shower to use .. staycation envy 😂 thanks guys ❤
Wow, what a wonderful place to stay. We would love to see a Cornwall guide from you guys as we love Cornwall and have it as a summer holiday in July and you guys always have the inside scoop :) Brilliant video as always x
Hi Guys, another fabulous video, what a gorgeous place. I'm intrigued about Charlotte's Guide to Cornwall project. I'm a folklorist and would love to see Folklore snippets in any guide that I purchased, anything from ghosts to ghouls, I always think it gives a place that extra delight and a sense of history, thank you once again for a Cornish treat.
Oh amazing! Great to hear. You wouldn't happen to know the origin story of the giant Bedruthan would you? We are currently filming another Staycation Vlog there and wanted to share a little about the myth/folklore 😁 Thanks for your lovely comments, always nice to see your name pop up Dr Jackdaw! ✌🏼
@@cjexplores Thank you for your lovely reply, you're too kind. The Giant Bedruthan and the bedruthan stepping stones, there seems to be little on it anywhere, I have some fab Cornish folklore books and cant really find much at all. It's great to hear from you, Cornwall should become your permanent home, you're happy there. Jackdaw
This was great! This is our local beach and you did such a great job of showing it off. I proposed to my wife where you were stood at Hells Mouth! (I didn’t know it was called that at the time 😂) - her family are all from round here - it’s me that’s the interloper. We love taking nuts to feed the squirrels at Tehidy too. They sometimes run up your leg if you’re sat on a bench and they know you’ve got some. I had one sat on my knee once. Cute but intimidating. 🥰🐿️
We did see some running up peoples legs! Naughty little cuties 😈 thanks for watching our video 😁 amazing that we stopped randomly where you proposed too! ❤️
I really enjoyed watching this video. I have walked the coastal path in this whole area (the whole of North Cornwall) and it is lovely to get a review of these amazing places. I wasn't aware of these baths. Hopefully I'll get the chance some time to check it out. How interesting and beautiful 🤩 Thank you 😊
Hi Torunn! Glad to have you back on our channel 🙌🏼 we CANNOT WAIT to do what you have done! And so stoked we could show you something that you missed on your first walk 😁
Epic digs! Love that you stayed in a historically significant place. Culture is an integral aspect of travel that most people miss. I hope you like our geeky new channel name. We are rebranding to fit better with our mission to promote environmental and cultural preservation on our upcoming carbon-neutral UNESCO world tour. Cheers and keep up the fun. - Turtle

Lovely mate. It's v r e y different experience
Hell's mouth has quite a sad naming. It's due to people committing suicide by jumping in.😢
Yes we saw a lot of lifeline signs there 😭
