So-called Labour. If you're white and working class they will not support your interests any more, but will support anyone else's.

Labour and Tory are the same. Those "right wing" Tories let in 1.5 million people last year and a 1000 the other day. Farage is an option for a change, Labour isn't change it's just more of the same. LIBLABCON.

      @@wanderingwilliam5031Farage is also a banker.
He wanted the army to force the toxic dart on us and recommended B.liar to oversee it.
Reformed UKIP also want to abolish tax on profits for the BoE and other banks.
Reform is popularised to split the vote. It is still most likely to be lie-bour. Although possibly a coalition between the Tories and UKIP Reformed.
All central bankers, their royal relatives and politician family members etc as always.
If the common man voting were genuine from 1918 then at least things would have improved during some years. Instead the opposite has happened. Over a century of supposed democratic voting.
It's choose your poison time again. Those of us who don't will have it chosen for us. Either way we lose. I would rather not condone voting for the demise of my own people if it's going to happen anyway and if it doesn't happen and we survive....and well enough.... then it wont be due to voting for the vulture in the middle of the left and right wings.
      That's my twopennyworth, anyway.
      Best wishes.

As far back as the 70's my father used to say that London is a dirty hole and needed a b**b dropped on it to start again (he meant from Balham and similar onto the centre). I know what he would say now. I am relieved he isn't around to suffer seeing this.
He gave up voting in the mid 80's when Thatcher tied us closer to the EU, to the point where we would be taken in without a referendum and whether or not it would be good for us.
He was one of the strong working class Labour voters you spoke of, but he realised that it was always a trick from 1918 onwards. The old ILP was done for after Keir Hardie died. That was when they sold out and became controlled fake opposition.
Whatever anyone thinks of the original ILP, it was genuine opposition at one time and seemed to be the only answer to the extreme anti working class politicians of the time. They didn't know what Marx was really about.

Honestly, the best thing clacton ( or anyone) can do is not bother even acknowledging politicians. Clacton is a weird one because the mass influx of Londoners and not the influx of the other type has actually destroyed the town so I'm not sure if more Londoners will make much difference to be honest 🤔. There is a big housing development near Sladburys lane that is being built to house the socially housed London types.
I was born and lived in Clacton and it's so sad to see it's decline .
