    LOL of course Howies wants you to use the whole roll on one leg. Jesus Christ that's a lot of tape.

    Just got new gear, I did this technique and it worked great! Only problem was when I Velcroed my shin pads they strap was getting in the way of my leg. Next time I won't make sure to Velcro them so tight :)

    Im 6'5 and even my 17" shins feel a tad short. Do they even make bigger than 17 lol...

      Yes they probably do but you would have to talk to a store manager at a hockey store and if they have any them buy a pair. If not, you can try and see if they will make a bigger size

    how do I get my shin pads to come down ontop of my skates like that ( like his in the video) do I need a longer shin pad?

      Put your jock and socks on, pull the socks up past your knees, put your pants on, lace up your skates, then put your shinpads on and bring the socks down on top of them.

      Yeah so if your shin pads now go to the top of your tongue, get longer ones. I used 13" but now I use 15 and goes right on the laces

    Do you do this with the top part as well? Last season the top of my kneepads with socks covering them kept popping out from under protective shorts. Was really annoying

    Does this work if you don't have socks on?

    • @jackfinn8130
      @jackfinn8130 9 лет назад

      Yes but the tape can touch your skin and from my experience it's super uncomfortable and makes your legs have red marks from the tepe
