Thanks Mads. Just received my first SaaL photo book - over 200 photos of my wife's life - a present for her 75th Birthday. Very good upload software, quality printing and fast delivery 5 days from upload to receipt of photo book (with gift box). Excellent service so thanks again for your recommendation and your excellent, informative videos.

I can resonate with this video because I've had many of these lightbulb moments in the last 3 months. I recently moved from a desert area to one with forests covered in various tree species. It's so beautiful this fall in the USA from the changing colors and I have been experimenting several times a week getting up early to walk through fog and play around with the subject separation because of it. Your videos are wonderful!
Pro tip for people reading this. If it rained the night before and the morning forecast predicts no wind, there is a good chance it'll be foggy or misty. Try it out!

Spot on Mads, and so practical… clarity, dehaze, and saturation sliders can kill a photo but when used sparingly can bring to the viewer what my eye was seeing at the time. Pragmatic. I’m going to focus on that for a while. Thank you for all you do Mads 👍🏻

Thanks for an engaging and inspiring video. Most of us camera carriers are not pros, comunicating with a large audience. My audience is my family and my medium is the slide show. I am not going to cover my walls with a few large prints but I have a NAS and a Chromecast to run a slide show. Also, I use photos as a communication starter - can you recall....etc. Of all the photo pros out there on RUclips, you might be the one who can help make my shoots and edits a bit more artsy and interesting.

Agree with you on orange sunsets, sunrises have more pinks/blues, but sunsets! Thanks Mads for this informative and rethinking video.

A comment on what you said at 0:18... Not accepting blindly what authorities say and always trying to find and analyze the logic behind it is beneficial not only in photography but also in other areas. I would even say it's a good approach to life in general. :-)

Over-editing is ruining so many potentially beautiful photos nowadays: I see it on so many photographers channels here on RUclips (but also other platforms). Photos of nature simply looking unnatural or sometimes just plain fake: nature doesn't scream with color in most cases, so why should your photos? Such a waste.
