Dear all, regarding Halbe Rahmen and shipping. Only the countries for which they have fixed shipping costs are listed in the online store, they do ship to the US, but it has to be requested individually. Just contact them on info@halbe.de. For the UK, you'll need an EORI number due to Brexit (whatever that is).
Your regular videos are a highlight of the week but the switch to do more technical videos brings so much information, and they're just as enjoyable. Thank you😊
Thanks Mads for the wealth of information presented here on shutter speed. I greatly appreciated the upfront concepts of understanding distance to moving subject, subject speed, and focal length. The range of examples presented was great! You provided some great starting points for shutter speed for different contexts while encouraging us to explore our creativity. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge!
excellent discussion this week Mads and again an invaluable video for those wishing to learn more about this subject. Really liked the look of the picture frames too, so will definitely have a look at the company's website to see more of their product range
Love your videos, very informative. I’m new to photography and like to think of myself as a nature and wildlife photographer , still learning a lot so keep them videos rolling📸😉
One thing I always say to my students at photography workshops is make sure your chosen shutter speed looks INTENTIONAL. This is usually an issue at "middling" shutter speeds. You need to strike the balance of motion and texture just right, or it just looks like you forgot to set your shutter speed properly and weren't even thinking about it.
I was really surprised, moving up to a Canon r6 mark II to be able to break the 1/n rule for handhold shots. But my instincts still have me follow the rule.
Hi Mads. If you were doing a focus stack while shooting waterfalls. Can you not shoot the high ground at a faster shutter speed and then the foreground with a slower shutter speed on the water and then blend them? Colin,
Hello Mads, When I see a lone person small in the distance (that's you, I'm guessing). How do you go about getting a photo of you when it probably takes you several minutes to get in place for the photo? Are you using time lapse..?
Mads, first of all, I really enjoy your images but they are not your best attribute. Where you really raise the bar is with regard to communication. Again - while excellent, the information isn't quite what makes your work shine - there is a layer of engagement, modesty, approachability that brings your skill alongside me, supporting my thoughts and elevating both my understanding and where I want to apply your approaches - in terms of technique, thought and attitude. Somehow, without bi-directional communication, you manage to mentor us without telling, yelling, lecturing or professing. I want to see your channel grow - and some others too. Collaborations I'd like to see is with "the photographic eye" and Simon D'Entremont. You guys are really changing the youtube waves!
There is more to Brexit than just buying ‘stuff’, it is called freedom! How do you think that businesses went on before the EU? You would think that the EU was some sort of god to many people. It is probably going to collapse anyway in the near future due to immigration and rival political pressures.

Thanks so much for explaining how shutter speed is displayed on the back of the camera. This is so simple - but it has confused me for quite sometime!
Excellent Tutorial/explnation. Thanks so much.
Thanks. Great to learn/ review how to use basic exposure options to enhance creativity. Soo many possibilities. Love your work!
Thank you, Mads, for another refresher of the basics. You explain things so well! Cheers from the USA
You are excellent in explaining these photography terms Mads! You make me actually confident in trying out the different settings when going out!

Great job. And, of course, you have lots of excellent photos to illustrate the points you are making. Those frames look interesting.

Now Mads has said it, I really hope I don't look like a pervert when I take photos of passing cars 🤣 Great video as always Mads, thank you.
We looked at Halbe, but they seem to ship only to Europe, not to the US. Loved the video, though.

@@colinreidcr you can indeed, that's exactly what I showed in the end of the video :)
Does the framer not ship to U.S. ??

@@christopherberry8519 thank you for such a lovely comment. I'm always open for cooperations :)
4:17 - It's a fraction, so it should be at MOST 1/50s. Smaller value -> faster shutter speed. Right?
That’s the last time I 📸 a passing 🚗! 🤣
Halbe doesn’t deliver to the UK. Cheer Brexit voters 🙄

@@petercollins7848 What freedoms did we gain?
Online shopping was a real pain before the UK joined the EU in 1973!
Halbe does not ship to the UK. BREXIT SUCKS!
@@Boatzerama we can definitely agree about that!
So we lose our sovereignty to get a few photo frames? 🤔
