- It's tempting to think in strictly two dimensional terms when designing laser-cut parts, but if you flip your thinking - and your laser cut parts - on their end, you can get some unique shapes way faster than from a 3D printer.

Thats awesome!
What power is the laser? I'm limited to 30-40w with my K40 laser.
Thanks! It's an 80W machine with a 4in lens! I've never worked with a K40, but I don't think it could do 3/4" pine even super slowly.
@@FarbulousCreations thank you! 😁
Simple, effective and efficient use of a scrap board. 👍
I've cut 100s of acrylic french cleat boxes for my workshop and yet it's still a mess 😂
Exactly - that's why its so difficult to throw away scrap for me. One man's trash is another man's yard tool hooks. 😂
My partner thinks I am crazy because I save all the scraps, I use them for small stuff. I don't think I can cut this thick of wood we only have a 60W. But thank you for the videos. 😊
now, THAT ! is recycleling.
Haha totally! Reduce and reuse! 😉
