This young man has a brilliant future in music. Not many are interested in these instruments anymore. What a beautiful bright ray of sunshine for the future. I hope the other pressures of this world don't distract him.
It’s nice to be able to play the organ, but careerwise i don’t think it has much future. You’ll never get rich from it unless you become a very big name.
I'm actually very pleased to mention that I am giving many young organists like him hope for the future thanks to the enormous library of organ arrangements I am creating as seen here: www(dot)musescore(dot)com(forward-slash)jonnymusic(forward-slash)sheetmusic
This young man KNOWS how to play a theater organ ! He has great tempo for this piece. Remarkable skill. Who ever he his I do pray he continues to hone his skills. He is a blessing to these wonderful organs.

It is such a blessing to see SO many youngsters enthused with the theatre organ. I wish this young man the best of luck as he pursues his musical career.
I always fear that the future and history of cinema and theatre organs will gradually fade but its young men like this that will help to keep them alive. What a great talent, well done.
If you are in the uk and want to play a theaters organ there are a few places I know of where you can do this.. Blackpool Ballroom. Organ tour and about 25 minute play. Close to #250 Thorngate Halls Gosport. 3/12 Compton. Excellent condition. First visit free but several casual visitors have signed up there and then. Monthly meetings. Playing time 20minutes upward depending how many players are there. Supported by membership subscription. Raffle and Player surcharge #5.00. Google them. Then there is the Christy at the Curzon Cinema Clevedon.
As others have said if I had 1% of this boys talent I'd be in organ heaven!! I have had one lesson in life on an organ and self taught myself what I know today.
Knocked it out of the park! I pray this young man continues to follow his obvious love for music, and uses it to enrich the lives of many people. Bravo!
That is amazing I started playing the organ around his age. Really good and wow. Amazing. He can be the youngest theater organist in history. Again amazing.
Kids like him will keep the organ sounding good for years to come....hopefully he will be a teacher some day, although natural talent like this cannot be taught...It might be "caught!"
Outstanding talent. Theater style presentation! He can come to Rockford Illinois and play the Grand Barton at the Coronado Theatre any time! God bless!
You can see he had a real bad time there! heehee! Well done Neil and the team for encouraging him. I hope that we shall hear more of this lad as time goes on.
Great job! This reminds me of the excitement of being in Grafton’s showroom as a kid and trying out the church organs. That was a long time ago, and before I started my 40 years as a church organist. I’m retired in sunny Florida now. Good luck to this young organist and to Grafton Organs, still going strong after all these years!
this young organist is truly a genious .I am an older organist. and I play a lowrey organ. and would love to learn to play a theater organ. I have only played a few notes on the one at the fox theater in Detroit Michigan.with the help of lance luce. he playes them
AWESOME!!. I live in Hartford, CT. We have one of the oldest organ manufactures still kind of in business. The Austin organ company. Mrs. Austin is still living but her husband who founded the company is passed. The son or sons still build and service organs. Great to hear a young guy like you playing an instrument that so many people don't even know exists anymore. We also have quite a few organ concerts in a nearby church. The guy who services our gas furnace just happens to have a 12 year old son who plays the theatre organ and I guess is actually pretty well known. I don't remember the name. Thanks for sharing this great video. BRAVO!!!.
I love the organ particularly the theater, pipe and Hammond. This young man will do well in years to come because he has a passion for the "historic" appreciation of the organ which is oldest "electric" instrument in the world. And he play like he is not intimidated at all. Kudos to him and his Parents!
Wow very good young man that was great keep up the good work we may see you one day on the whirlitzer in Blackpool tower ballroom you never know best wishes to you Doreen
I'm so glad to see more young people get interested in this amazing instrument!!! I once worked for the restaurant chain; "Pizza & Pipes" which was a pizza restaurant in the PNW with a large Wurlitzer pipe organ installed within. I used to go there as a child for my birthdays etc. I've always loved the music. I would sit there by the console and study what the organists were doing and after a period of time, the restaurant owners would let me practice on the organ after hours. Eventually I played Wednesday and Sunday afternoons. I was only 17. Sadly the restaurant chain since has gone away and the various organs have wound up in other locations. It's so sad that this seems to be a dying art. I really wish more colleges, high schools, theatres and centres for the arts would open their hearts and space to give a home to one of these endangered instruments. To play one is an amazing feeling. I could play for hours and it want to stop. The sound of the pipes and orchestration whirls around you and fills your soul with joy and happiness vibrating away all the negativity in the outside world. I have an electronic one at home. It's a restored Baldwin Cinema II. A rare instrument. It's great for practice till you can get to the real deal. Please encourage everyone to donate, help others get interested, and teach the joys of this kind of music so it may live on and entice our youth to carry on the soul of this beautiful and powerful instrument.
Mike Young You can’t build a restaurant chain around an organ with terrible food! If they had given any consideration to quality of food rather than just using it as an excuse to have an organ, I assure you, they’d still be around. How can a pizza place screw up pizza? But nearly all of them didn’t care about the food, it was all about the organ and little else. The public deserves better.
Man!I I just stumbled onto this, and WOW! I am an older organist, (or wannabe depending if you hear me play ;). And you need to tell this young man to keep it UP! It has been discouraging to see the apparent decline of good music and especially organ music. It is younger men and women such as this very talented young man that allows me to see hope and a future for both the organ, the business of organs, and the hobbiests like me. I have liked organ music since I was quite young, but it didn't begin that way. My dear mother made me take piano at a young age, and I hated it. We had quite a few rounds (and switchings) over it! I quit to join the band, but discovered the organ while on an Air Guard trip in the 70's. I went into a bar where a guy was really playing (like this young man, except it was pops and rock). The rest is history. My instruments now are a Hammond T-524 and a Theatre-style Hammond Aurora I enjoy very much. If you encounter this young man again, please tell him to continue bringing us great music and don''t let up! We NEED him.
I'm actually very pleased to mention that I am giving many young organists like him hope for the future thanks to the enormous library of organ arrangements I am creating as seen here: www(dot)musescore(dot)com(forward-slash)jonnymusic(forward-slash)sheetmusic
Oh I love this. He hand registers the organ just like Walt Strony. This young guy is another up and coming organist who very well might play the huge Wurlitzer at Organ Stop Pizza or the Victorian Palace 5/80 Wurlitzer at Jasper Sanfilippo's place someday. Someone quick, get this young guy a red dinner jacket.
His movements and the way he approaches the piece just reminds me of the whole aesthetic of Organ Stop. Would make the 2 day drive out there again to see him!
I remember how excited i was when i got my 1st Conn organ in the 7th grade and then a brand new Conn organ with the drums in 9th grade. How exciting to hear this young man. Wow! Keep it up!!
I would love to hear a video of the young man playing today and see how far he came. I got the chance to take piano lessons as a child, and later played the organ in church. Not much became of it as others have said you don't see many rich organists but I did it for the love of it, not the money. I would play for free if they let me! I was asked when I was in high school what I wanted to do when I grew up and I said play the organ... they laughed at me. I laughed back though! I have my eye on that HAMMOND organ in the back! Growing up I didn't have 2 nickels to rub together but loved trying out the organs in the organ stores. Some of the dealers were so kind and said play whatever you like .... others not so nice { don't touch! ] so when I was 18 I took out a loan and bought a B-3 from the dealers who were nice to me!
This young man has been such an inspiration to me. I have loved the organ since I was a young boy some 55 years ago and I am just now beginning to take lessons. I've self taught myself and I do play the organ some but his talent keeps me going! Are there any other video's of this young man?
What is about PA and amazingly talented young organists? I'm reminded there was once a youtube video of a tiny girl who could barely reach the pedals, tearing through Widor's Toccata. Somewhere in the Philly suburbs IIRC. And of course Cameron Carpenter is from there, too.
I have a request. I wish i could hear "Overture, On With the Show This is it" on a theatre organ. That was the opening theme of the Bugs Bunny Show back when Saturday morning cartoons were amazing. I have a feeling this kid could really do that song justice.
I would love to see this young man perform again today in 2023.

This is a perfect tune for the theatre organ genre. It is nice to see that some young people are still interested in this type of music.
Bravo! Steve Allen is smiling, I am sure. So nice to see someone so young interested in theater organ and music of this genre and era.
Wonderful to see such great talent.
How wonderful this is to see and hear!!! Bless whomever introduced this young man to the fabulous organs & music that exist!

very talented young man....
thanks for posting....
As others have said if I had 1% of this boys talent I'd be in organ heaven!! I have had one lesson in life on an organ and self taught myself what I know today.
Excellent playing well done to the young man from Scott in the UK
It's always a joy to find young talent, but it's an equal relief that there are still instruments around for them to play.
There is another outstanding young organist from PA that loves to arrange and perform music for silent films -- Brett Miller.
@@davidrounds3318 That's fabulous - thank you for taking time to flag Mr Rounds.
Knocked it out of the park!
I pray this young man continues to follow his obvious love for music, and uses it to enrich the lives of many people.
Bravo!
BRAVO!!!!! FROM Canada
That is amazing I started playing the organ around his age. Really good and wow. Amazing. He can be the youngest theater organist in history. Again amazing.
What a briliant youg man he has a wonderfull career and future infront of him best wishes from the UK
He is a born musician, and it's great to see the young generation appreciating the electric theater organ.
Truly amazing such an amazing talent i hope he has kept it up
Wow. Very talented. That is so neat.
Wonderful ! you are blessed with talent .... you will go far young man ....take care !
Awesome dude. Keep the fire burning.
Agreed can’t let full size organs die and be overtaken by poxy Yamaha synth keyboards
Bravo!!! Such incredible talent. I love how the organ is being discovered by so many young people again . There is an organ revival happening.
Very good. It does my heart good to see such a young man on organ.
Such a haunting sound but so soothing.
Great organ, reminds me of times gone... Superb young organ player, glad to see that former times are still living for next generation
It's good to know that there are younger people taking interest in theater organs. There seem to be so few nowadays.
I love the old Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ sound and this kid is awesome playing it. It almost makes me tear up!
Kids like him will keep the organ sounding good for years to come....hopefully he will be a teacher some day, although natural talent like this cannot be taught...It might be "caught!"
wow....when i was his age, i only dreamed of playing a TO...nice job kid....
I'd be lost sat at one of these, however... That Hammond behind it, ooh man that gets me going!
Serious talent! I hope the young man keeps it up through the years.
Outstanding talent. Theater style presentation! He can come to Rockford Illinois and play the Grand Barton at the Coronado Theatre any time! God bless!
Nice registration! Well done.
Very well Done. keep up the organ playing son.
This is so Kool . All the best to this young man😎😇
Good work, young’un! Keep going! Wonderful playing!
You can see he had a real bad time there! heehee!
Well done Neil and the team for encouraging him. I hope that we shall hear more of this lad as time goes on.
If I had just 1% of his talent I`d have twice as much as I have got. Very good indeed.
My... what talent young man ! you are blessed ...
This is a very talented young man, an organ like this has so many features, and he makes it looks so easy..
Wow what a player. Hope to see him play again.
One of my favourite instrument among the pipe/digital organ and the piano
I hope I will be able to play in one of these

Absolutely Magnificent !
Well done! Love it. Hope to hear more from you! (this message from England)
Beautiful!

Man!! did he take off --- :-))))) for this show!
Gifted
Very good and inspiring.....:-)
GW 319 by Allen. My dad has the same model.
Not too shabby... 🙂
"This Could Be The Start Of Something Big" by Steve Allen.
Wouldn't it have been a nice souvenir if dad had bought the Allen to take back with them?
2Greenhill Chances are they could afford a real Wurlitzer from someone than buying a box of speakers for $50,000-90,000.

Stumbled on this kid again. If it weren't so late I'd go in and play my Lowrey Royale I got at an auction for $25.00 this past summer!
What is about PA and amazingly talented young organists? I'm reminded there was once a youtube video of a tiny girl who could barely reach the pedals, tearing through Widor's Toccata. Somewhere in the Philly suburbs IIRC. And of course Cameron Carpenter is from there, too.
Great potential ... needs to work on timing but once he gets that down he’ll be a force to be reckoned with!
We could use his style or organ playing in the Masons , Elks, and Shrine!
I Wish i will Be also Young and can learn the Irgan
Amazing! I can't wait for you to go on tour! What's this guy's name?
He's good!
Has he got his own RUclips channel?
That's an Allen GW319. My dad has the same instrument. (They do have to be adjusted for the room they go into.)
BRETT MILLER
I have a request. I wish i could hear "Overture, On With the Show This is it" on a theatre organ. That was the opening theme of the Bugs Bunny Show back when Saturday morning cartoons were amazing. I have a feeling this kid could really do that song justice.
This the start of something big... pun intended
i hope dad bought the organ for him, wow
It's all about the, "Shmultz" With a tiny bit of help this young man can make any large instrument "sing".
Very good ragtime player.
brilliant. well done lad....have you got a you tube channel?
