I met Tina many times in the mid '80s when I worked in a vintage clothing store in the West Village of NYC. She came in about once a month, and of all the celebrities I've met, she was so truly 'normal...' down-to-earth, friendly... she'd chat with the owner & me for a half hour, then check out our vintage jewelry and accessories to add to her collection. Simply a pleasure.
Years ago I taped this interview but accidently taped over it so I'm grateful it is being shared here. Tina Louise is my favorite actress and she looks so beautiful and caring and intelligent.
Glad she is still alive! I just remember the Rescue from Gilligans Island movies when they aired, and all the buzz was Tina Louise wasn't in them, they had somebody else playing her. Where was she? What happened? How ironic it is now that she is the only surviving castaway.
Wow we have something in common everyone calls me Tina Louise I also grew up in a girls home and I also still have lead in my hand where I got stabbed it by a pencil by bully girl.... 😲
It is now 2022. Hope Tina is doing well. She was obviously a very good actress because she was not the ditzy dame here that she played on Gilligan. She showed gher smarts very well here.
I also haven't informed Tina Louise about how much I've insulted Bob Denver's pet turtles. Did you notice that there has never been a turtle who was ever a Halloween mascot? I simply Google searched for answers. It appears to be that I was right. I saw one of these stuffed toy turtles that had worn a Halloween witch's black hat, and he/she was carrying around a witch's broomstick. And now, are you going to tell me that's weird, strange, bizarre, or even crazy? You know very well that a black house cat is the normal usual Halloween mascot. I meant are you wise enough to go by whatever is normal? I'm just trying to be straightforward honest. 🐢 🤔 😳 😏 😅 😉 🐢
@@thomasbarrientos6234 she was so very beautiful. Here she is only 64. Why is this sad? Just look at her! What has caused this to happen? I am sure there is some reason ! (Possibly cancer and chemotherapy?) 😥She looks even far worse now today! May God always bless this beautiful but tragic woman. 😇💌
She seems so more realistic here. She was extremely delusional in the 60s. I guess since her “Mae West” styled persona died down, she was able to mature some.

She’s 88 years old today and still kickin’. Hopefully she’ll be with us for many more years.
