      They are the clothing partner, not one of they main sponsors. If they are, then sure. But that's probably more than Adidas is looking to spend while their name on the gear will be way more effective PR wise, since they actually make gear.

    Interesting that Puma left Mercedes as they already sponsored Ferrari. Adidas and Puma are German and were actually founded by brothers Adi Dasler (where Adidas name comes from) and Rudi Dasler.

      No, they don’t. They’ll most likely commission Fyshe to manufacture the racing overalls, underwear, gloves, and boots so adidas can just slap their logo on them. That’s what they did when they sponsored Porsche in WEC and IMSA during the LMP days.

      @@LuisTrey honestly I had no idea that Adidas didn't make that suit themselves, but that would make sense. I feel like OMP are still more likely than Fyshe though just because they already have their newest suit homologated and they'll probably be really desperate to supply at least one team on the grid and Merc might be their only option to do so, unless Alpine or Haas feel like switching to them too for some reason lol

      That’s how Adidas itself pronounces it, and how it’s known in most of the world. Sounds weird to me too though.
      Nike I don’t think they have any such excuse. Pretty sure “Nike-ee” is the Greek pronunciation for the goddess too.

      These two brands are pronounced in a ton of different ways depending on your native language but we always know what people are talking about.

      Are u nuts. George is a really talented driver and has out qualified LH this year. For ur info, that's the first time Hamilton was out qualified in both race performance and qualifying performances. George is a very consistent driver and the drive to the Chequered flag in Belgium proved it. George is also a great driver in the wet and putting a Williams in P2 in 2021 in a race of which I cant remember the name of. GR is also one of the 4 drivers on the grid that has actually successfully defended max verstappen, joining Charles, Sainz, and Lewis. So I dont understand what ur talking about

    None of these brands really produce race gear, it’s all a sham. It’s the likes of Sparco and OMP that really make the technical stuff that needs FIA certification. The rest of the team wear is cheapo Chinese/Sri Lankan/Vietnamese market stall junk with a brand name on (quite a few brand names)

      @@DC-SA1 Adidas is a German company though, it was founded by Adolf “Adi” Dassler. I wouldn’t say that is the “right” pronunciation, just the American one. Just go on to Google translate and have it say “adidas” in German, that’s the original pronunciation.
