Archived Footage: Middle Fork American River Project

Join us for a look back in time. In 1961, the people of Placer County approved a bond to build the Middle Fork American River Project. This project secured water for the future and made it possible to utilize hydroelectric power. These dams, reservoirs, tunnels, and powerhouses still benefit the people of Placer County today.
