First time hearing about Lovebites. Wow!!
Love this band been with them since day one. I heard about their first EP on the Bravewords website and once a heard that first song I was hooked. I tell everyone I know and every reaction channel to check them out. I hope some day they'll be able to tour the US or I can go to Japan or Europe to see them live. Just unbelievable talent.
Little bio note:
The band was formed by Haruna (drums) and Miho (bass and leader). They know each other from their time in Destrose (a seminal but unsuccessful j-metal all female band) and they decided to form a band together.
Apparently their experience in Destrose wasn't too good (founder and leader Mina was a gifted guitarist but nearly impossible to work with) so they searched for guitarists not only with with talent but also with agreeable personalities (and they hit the jackpot!) and then incorporated Asumi, who comes from a R&B and gospel background, because they wanted someone different from a classic heavy singer.
As a side note, Miyako, who is probably sound wise the most important member of the band right now (she is the main composer, plays guitar, piano and keyboards, and do backing vocals) was listed as "support member" at first, so she probably wasn't really sure about joining the band full time (fortunately for us she did).

I'm sooooo damn greatful for Baby Metal, because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have found ( LOVE BITES, NEMOPHILA, BAND-MAID, ALDIOUS, BRIDEAR, all these ladies can and will shred ur face off, and blow ur mind, all so beautiful, especially Love Bites, sooooo fkn talented, rip ur ❤️ out, then give it back with a smile

Lovebites is in fact one of my most favourite J-Metal Bands
En mi opinión, y no me canso de repetirlo, la mejor banda de heavy metal del siglo XXI. Y una de las 10 mejores bandas de todos los tiempos. Todas ellas TREMENDAS instrumentistas.

I LOVE them!! They’re not just beautiful but they are SO talented. They’re not a gimmick, they are bad ass musicians and Asami is an awesome vocalist.
All these women are drop dead gorgeous and that’s why I call them a Glam Power Metal band. JMetal, JPop musicians are very, very talented. Japanese mindset is: do it 110% or don’t do it at all!❤️
I can definitely hear a heavy Iron Maiden influence here. F%&$ing great band! It's awesome that female metal players and singers are getting recognition these days. It's about time!

Miyako's expression and way of speaking off stage are similar to guitarist Takayoshi Ohmura from Kami Band or Babymetal. I thought they were brother and sister lol.
Saw them playing live supporting Dragonforce a couple of years ago, they were astonishing.

Interesting combination of elements. Obviously highly skilled, different look for most metal bands for sure. If they can write some good unique stuff they might go far, who knows.
