    how do i turn this option on? ive turned on my manual aim in settings and it's still not working

      You click in "systems", then "game options", and then you can change the manual attack aiming option, to turn it on or off. This option will only allow you to manual aim attacks with large weapons whilst locked-on, so only ultra-class and also curved great swords. So, it won't work with great swords, straight swords etc. However, some attacks on ultra-weapons cannot be turned, such as leap attacks, so you cannot manual aim. Having said that, there are certain move sets in weapons, such as the mad-king halberd R2, that will allow you to manual aim, even though it is not an ultra-class weapon. Hope that helps. If you need to turn great swords, such as bastard sword, claymore, etc, you will need to unlock.
