Fighters are smart it's a different type of mental ability and thinking being used. Like someone who is great at guitar is a genius at that and high mental ability at that. For example elon musk is super smart but he likely couldn't out think most fighters in a ufc fight and win right now. Hes not smart enough in that area of thinking to be able to compete. A big realization eveyone should have is even if someone seems not to intelligent compared to your perception on it. There's still something there better at then you or know more about. Golf is also entirely static as a sport meaning there are little to no variables involved, all you have to do is aim and hit with the same gear you always use In fighting you have to learn alot, then apply it on the go against someone who has a style that may very well counter yours. All whilst getting punched in the face Not to say you need to be intelligent to be a fighter, but it is certainly far more cognitively challenging than hitting a ball on the ground with a stick in a certain direction. This is coming from an engineer who knows just how incredibly complex things can get even if they look simple to the layman
Coming from a 7 year golfer and 5 year boxer, it’s easier to hit a ball (not perfectly) than to kick someone. Now to hit a ball perfectly it requires a lot of skill and many years of practice. So I would say it’s easier to kick someone then to hit a ball PERFECTLY and vise versa

I've never played golf, but I have kickboxed. The thing is, both options are rather broad. Doesn't say you have to hit the golf ball perfectly, or even well. It also doesn't say you have to kick someone in the head. I believe it may be harder for someone to hit a golf ball (albeit poorly) than for that same person to just kick someone in the leg or torso, for example. I'm confident an average person could land a kick somewhere on a person's anatomy on the first try more often than someone hitting a golf ball on the first try.
