Trestle Ruins, Cows and Mr B Claybank, MN

  • I found another old DRW&S/CGW trestle ruins hidden away under some trees on some pastureland so I had to be a little mindful of the cows. This time in Claybank, Mn. I now know the whereabouts of 16 of the 24 trestles that the DRW&S built were at and two of them I have yet to visit. Note: This is private property! Hey! If you have property in Hiawathaland with any kind of ruins, I'm interested.

    Great video. On the old maps it looks like that line approached today’s County 52 from roughly the SSE and made a slight right turn to just past north as it crossed the road, so your comment about the trestle being on a slight angle seems plausible. Interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing.
