I have read parts of the Bible, but I am unsure whether I should start somewhere and continue it like a book or if I should flip through different books of the Bible
I’m so happy to see you being a Grandpa now. I’ve been listening to you for nearly 13 years. Your first sermon I ever heard was one of the either first or second Peter sermons. You really gave it to the men. I’m a female and I wasn’t watching it to bash them. I watched it because it clued me in on what I missed out on with my own father and the sin I committed because of it. My grandpa just passed away on August 3. He was 95. And an amazing follower of Christ and he made the most beautiful influence on our family. There are roughly 60 of us and God has been very gracious. We are all still here. No random car accidents or anything. It was incredible to hear my mom and her siblings get up and speak about him at his funeral on August 12 and myself and all of my cousins got up and spoke …..he was just iconic. Good old Indiana farmer he would nap under his tractor on a hot day if he needed a break in the field. He would sing all the time. Just a precious man. His name was Lloyd. He had the strongest convictions about the Lord. He had so much scripture memorized he would always challenge us with our faith and while it’s still really hard to think about the fact that he is no longer here I am just so incredibly happy for him. He was saying, I love you, Lord I love you, Lord I love you, Lord as he was dying, and then his last words were. “I love you all.” he passed away peacefully in his chair which was a prayer for all of us. And I’m just telling you this because now I’m seeing you moving into your grandfather years and I’m just so happy for you. I’m so happy for the mark you are going to leave on your family. I’m so grateful for your wisdom through your teachings the last 13 years in my life. I’m a homeschool mom and I’m going to be making my children go through your series when they hit their high school years of homeschool. You have been such a blessing and many many many many congratulations to you and grace with now being grandparents.

I'm new here..i found you one day on my search for Joyce Meyers...and here i am ..so happy i found you Mark.. this was definitely a blessing ..i should say is a blessing i found you...i now look for you and absolutely am loving all of what and how you teach and explain scripture and love your sense of humor during all of it..i am loving learning about the bible and GOD my father as you say..to learn about him and to have a relationship with him..i see things differently and feel the holy spirit more than ever ..Amen to that.. I have learned so much through reading myself ..doing prayer everyday and waking up every morning with thanks to God and prayer ... amazing how much i feel happier..and have more patience with dealing with difficult situations and im more at peace ..and trying to stay on the right path ..Once again congratulations on being a grandfather..i am a grandmother ..so i no how wonderful it is..God Bless your whole family Mark .Amen

Jesus was telling them to read this scripture. Which is lament and eschatological. Fulfilling the prophecy they saw unfold that day.

Matthew Ch: 27 Matthew outlines the great commission the triumph of Jesus resurrection going to all nations.
Hebrew ch 2:10, explains the why.
- A tapestry of salvation that unlocks Psalm 22.

Humans submit to what validates their sinfulness... thats why they say "I'm looking for my tribe" and what that really means is "I'm looking for people who sin like I do so that my sin will be accepted and I don't have to repent"

Yeah there is some thing about KJV.....ism. It only takes the name of Yahweh in vain 6823 times. "the LORD" seems to be a very catchy way of "identifying" Yahweh. Studeeeeee!

You only know this as the Pastor says through READING THE BIBLE.
Stop buying books just develop your relationship spiritually and supernaturally with the one book, INSPIRED BY GOD AND LET THE HOLY SPIRIT TEACH YOU. So God can see your transformation. SO YOU develop discernment and your spiritual gifts.
