Ummm....I agree, it WAS an excellent sermon. My caution is with your use of God's name. Please, be careful. It honestly sounded like an explosive expletive, almost like the way unsaved people would use it. I'm not being judgey, I'm just urging care. We're going to have to give an account for every word that comes out of our mouths. I worry that I have not always been as respectful of God's name as I should be myself. 😢
My pastor yesterday preached about the end times and someone after the first service, asked him... Why if Jesus is all knowing He doesnt know when He is coming? He shared with us that The Holy Spirit gave him the answer... Jesus is God and He is all knowing. But when He answered the apostoles that only God knew of His coming and not the Son, He was a man not acting as God. Therefore at that time, Jesus didn't know, but now He does... That was a great revelation glory to God!🙏🏽🙌🏽
One can also have joy and pleasure in CHRIST JESUS!!!!! That scriptural quote is 'pleasure in unrighteousness'. Pleasure in things that are not the will of God.

The only time the language of the Holy pPirit was ever spoken is when God gave language to mankind in creation. God gave them language to communicate with Himself. We still have tha language- it is called prayer. The first use of tongues was an inverse action to the tongues of Acts- found in the story of the Tower of Babel!. The NT gift of tongues was primarily to give those unbeliving Jews understanding in thier own language : Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Act 2:10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Act 2:11 Cretes and Arabians. This is so obvious it is unneccessary to add any verses to establish it.

Eze 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? God says the prophets of Israel wrote about Gog in their writings. This defines Gog as the AC since Armageddon is where God defeats the AC and company which is also the Gog war. When we search the OT for a battle in Israel that God defeats the enemies arrayed against Israel with Israel returning to the Lord for ever after. We find such descriptions in the Day of the Lord scriptures from the OT. The DOTL scriptures end with God defeating the armies invading Israel and Israel returning to the Lord for ever after just as we see in Eze 39. Peace, PTT

The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS truly believes in Jesus Christ the Savior and Redeemer the literal Resurrected Son of God he suffered and bleed and died on the cross was resurrected and lives again. This preacher is so close but this one thing.

When it comes to the Bible we pretty much believe as you do! Do you really know anything about what our church is? What we are about? I listen to different pastors from different churches and I love listening to your you tube videos and podcasts. But this made me sad. I believe there is so much good in all of us! I can not say... as I am not sure what Pastor Driscoll fully believes about hell. But, the threat of eternal hell fire, for us, is one of those FALSE DOCTRINES. The lake of fire has been prepared for Satan and his demons. We are NOT, currently, eternal beings. The wages of sin is DEATH.. The SECOND DEATH... We must be saved, lest we PERISH. Hell, the actual root word for Hell, is simply the GRAVE. Where the dead are interned and perish. You might see my post just a few posts below for explanation and Scriptural reference.

There are TWO very effective deceptions today, coming from those who 'preach the gospel' Both of these are dangerous, and will lead many astray. 1. The threat of eternal hell fire. (the lake of fire has been prepared for SATAN and his demons) 2. The promise of an early pre-tribulation rapture. Let's start with the rapture. There is no clear Scriptural basis for a pre-tribulation rapture. We are NEVER promised to escape tribulation... There has always been tribulation in this world. Ever since the fall of man. The apostles went thru great tribulation and persecution. We are called to rejoice, persevere/endure, and to be patient in tribulation. We ARE promised to escape wrath. DISCERNMENT: tribulation and wrath are two totally and completely different things. We will see the antichrist and the beast. Those who endure UNTIL THE END and who do not accept the mark of the beast shall be saved. As it was in the days of Noah and Sodom and Gommorah, so it shall be. In both cases, God himself, personally brings these families out of harms way AT THE LAST MOMENT. (this is our prophetic example) Now, about the deception of eternal hell fire. The lake of fire has been prepared for Satan and his demons, who are eternal beings. WE, are not. We were created of the dust of the earth, to which we shall return. We were given/lended God's breath of life, which goes back to God when we die. The wages of sin is DEATH... The SECOND DEATH. (read in Revelation) For those who are not saved, the end is THE SECOND DEATH. For those who are saved, they are resurrected, and also CHANGED, TRANSFORMED, INCORRUPTIBLE as the angels who do not die. The second death has NO power over them. Thus they can be with the Lord, forever. AMEN

There are TWO very effective deceptions today, coming from those who 'preach the gospel'
Both of these are dangerous, and will lead many astray.
1. The threat of eternal hell fire. (the lake of fire has been prepared for SATAN and his demons)
2. The promise of an early pre-tribulation rapture.
Let's start with the rapture. There is no clear Scriptural basis for a pre-tribulation rapture.
We are NEVER promised to escape tribulation... There has always been tribulation in this world. Ever since the fall of man.
The apostles went thru great tribulation and persecution.
We are called to rejoice, persevere/endure, and to be patient in tribulation.
We ARE promised to escape wrath. DISCERNMENT: tribulation and wrath are two totally and completely different things.
We will see the antichrist and the beast. Those who endure UNTIL THE END and who do not accept the mark of the beast shall be saved.
As it was in the days of Noah and Sodom and Gommorah, so it shall be.
In both cases, God himself, personally brings these families out of harms way AT THE LAST MOMENT. (this is our prophetic example)
Now, about the deception of eternal hell fire.
The lake of fire has been prepared for Satan and his demons, who are eternal beings.
WE, are not. We were created of the dust of the earth, to which we shall return.
We were given/lended God's breath of life, which goes back to God when we die.
The wages of sin is DEATH... The SECOND DEATH. (read in Revelation)
For those who are not saved, the end is THE SECOND DEATH.
For those who are saved, they are resurrected, and also CHANGED, TRANSFORMED, INCORRUPTIBLE as the angels who do not die.
The second death has NO power over them.
Thus they can be with the Lord, forever.
