Valmiera KICKED OUT of Europe!

Financial woes at Valmiera FC finally proved too much for the Latvian Football Federation to keep tolerating, so they docked the club 3 points and denied them a UEFA license to participate in the Europa Conference League 2024.
In place of in-form Valmiera FC, one of the teams representing Latvia in Europe this season is going to be.... the firmly-bottom-of-the-table FK Liepaja!

Valmiera and Liepaja - what one has, the other one lacks and vice versa.
I'm curious what Liepaja is planning for UEFA Conference League. If someone asked them at a press conference, they'd probably say it's still a long way off :D

With as much turmoil as Liepāja are in at the moment it’s difficult to imagine any kind of planning about anything going on in there, least of all the Conference League!
