He's been playing on another plane since. He really became the best after those demons (drugs) left his life.
Standing in front of speakers complaining it is too loud...hmmmm. How about "as I was right in front of the speakers there is some lens distortion from the bass". Thank you for capturing this.
I have stood in front of speakers countless times and not had issues yet here the output from the kick drum and bass where almost intolerable. The sound guy was not doing his job properly
Anitras, these videos are spectacular - Eric was really on fire this day. Did the KTBA Voodoo Child medley get taken down? Can’t seem to find it anymore? It was one of my favourites and one of his best performances ever I think!
I so dig Eric Gales playing on this cruise! It seems less freaky (forgive me for saying) and therefore heaps more accessible to the masses and my ears! Again sorry for the slight criticism. I think even hendrix had to take off the freakiness to make his albums soar and stay within the limits for the masses.
Eric is the man who can turn any song into 17 different directions in 5 minutes, even those that you think you know inside out.
Eric played his ass off for those folks, and they basically stood there scratching their asses. What a bunch of ingrates...!!!
