The million dollar question is if one can stack up more effects than with the previous version. With interesting reverbs or delays it was almost impossible to stack more than 3 (often 2!) effects. It would be THE REAL update for this great pedal.
Im getting this just to have more modulation effects on my board the rest are just a bonus also getting the od/ distortion one i like that i can still fit em and not have a giant one does all board and can still use my analog pedals with these!
That's exactly what I did, but I have the 50G plus running into this 70CDR. I plan on using the dynamics, drives, and preamps from the 50, then all the extra fx from the 70. Great combo. 👍
Thanks for the video. I have the old version & love its various Chorus effects. By the way, I don't know why Zoom didn't put the FX loop into this new version. Because of cost? Zoom should have adopted the FX loop for full utilizability.
Thank you for your comment! I don't have the older model, so I can't say for sure, but I haven't noticed any noise issues. It seems the sound quality has improved compared to the previous models.
What kind of problem are you talking about? I loved my ms-70cdr but it had a high-pitched whine even with battery power. I want to pick the new model up and hope it will work out.
@@tetkiktedavi1674 I want to know the same. I have the MS-70 CDR and especially in the Modulation effects, this pedal produces an high pitched noise really annoying
Thanks for your comment. Like the MS-50G±, I haven’t panned them fully left and right (or rather, I haven’t made any pan adjustments at all, including in the recording software). It’s true that many effects don’t have a strong stereo feel. Maybe adjusting the parameters could change that, but I’m not sure.
The new pedal is almost all plastic which was very disappointing. It feels cheap and the four encoders are very small and hard to use for someone with bigger fingers. That being said it sound great and packs a lot for the price. I decided to keep my old one though.
It sounds great. How do you think the quelity of sound is when comparing it with the old version? I have the old version and i'm hesitating to buy the new one
Thank you for your comment. I'm sorry, I don't have the previous version, so I can't compare... I'm not sure if this is accurate, but from what I've researched, the old version seems to have 86 effects, while the new version has 149 effects. Additionally, it's noted that the newer version has a higher quality circuit and improved bypass sound.
Hi, great video.. on the Zoom website it says: "With USB MIDI, you can connect the MS-70CDR+ to other MIDI gear to remotely trigger patch changes " but I couldn't do it, do you know if it's possible? Thx
Thanks for your comment! I haven't tried it myself, so I'm not completely sure, but according to the manual, it seems possible. Is the "USB MIDI CH" setting in the MENU screen correct? I think you need to match the MIDI channel with the other connected device.
You can manage effects using the dedicated app 'Handy Guitar Lab for MS-70CDR+.' I believe new effects will be added in the future, but as of now, they don't seem to be available.
I didn't have any difficulty hearing. I thought the drums were nice for hearing the time based effects keeping time. Maybe keep the drums, but lower their volume? Thanks for a great demo video!
maybe, but the drum layer helps. we could figuring how the feels/ quality of the cdr+ effect in the mix or should made 2 version)) with n without other layers
I'm not quite understanding why Zoom did not offer any visible feedback for the compressor settings. To use the pedal and compression effects blindly is not a preferred host format. Being that this is the second iteration of the pedal it would have been nice to see updates to the pedal including digital screen representations of the compressors where the settings were alive and visual while dialing in the compression settings. I'm not ignorant on how to use a compression without the visual lights still it would be much better with the lights or bars to show how much compression is occurring with the effects. Too bad, oh well. It seems like a deal breaker for me right now to buy this pedal for compression when I won't be able to see the compression threshold and so on. Great video by the way, just the video I was looking for to see the compression section in action, thanks.
Thank you for your comment. It seems that the overall sound quality has improved, so it’s probably even better, but I don’t have the previous model, so I can’t make a direct comparison.
It works perfectly with synths! The manufacturer explicitly states this. I couldn't find any information about using it with vocals, but I think it should work fine.
I intended not to skip anything except the 'BPM' for syncing delays and other effects to tempo, and the 'Line Selector' for turning multiple effects on and off simultaneously. If I missed anything, I apologize.

Thanks for your comment! As far as I've tested, there's no need to worry about that.

Thank you for your comment! You're right, having an FX loop would have been a great addition. It's probably due to cost or design constraints.
You should do this again with a drum machine using the compression section solo.

Have they addressed the noise issues compared to the older models? I like this sort of video, no talking just effects🌟

@@genmai.guitar ok thank you. Will pick one up I think.

Anybody knows if in this newer version, Zoom already fixed the high-pitched noise that the MS70 CDR produces, specially in the modulation effects?
I’m dying to know as well. Absolute deal-breaker for me re: the original
From what I heard it has been fixed.
Thanks for your hard work! I wondering why these new stereo-pedals doesn't sound like other modern immersion-sound multieffects?
Thanks for your comment.

Thank you for making this video! It's definitely helpful for me making a decision whether to buy this pedal
Thank you for the comment. I'm glad it was helpful!
Have you compared it with some well known multifx or pedals like Boss? It would be interesting to see comparison
Thank you for the comment. I haven't compared them, but it certainly is interesting!

Thank you for your comment. The sound and performance are great, but you're right about the build quality and the usability of the knobs.

エレアコやエレガットにかけたら綺麗にのりそうな感じですね。
コメントありがとうございます。
間違いないですね!複数エフェクトをかけられるのでかなり幻想的なサウンドも作れそうです。
Is this suitable for a bass guitar?
Of course!
Does the Effect Manager firmware hack for adding extra FX algorithms work with this like the old MS70CDR?
You can manage effects using the dedicated app 'Handy Guitar Lab for MS-70CDR+.' I believe new effects will be added in the future, but as of now, they don't seem to be available.
Thanks for the demonstration, maybe no drums next time, cant hear much detail
Thank you for the comment! It was hard to hear, I apologize for that. I'll take it into consideration for the future!

Is the noise suppressor/ reduction on this as good as the old model?

How does one use the looper effect on this guy?
Thank you for your comment. I'm switching effects while playing the guitar sound through the looper.
Is it suitable for synths and vocals?
Would like to now as well

"All effects" except some are skipped?

Well at least for now, if you can't use it with the hacked software and add distortions, it sucks. I would never buy this now.
