I’ve been asking for esports events for the finals forever and now it’s on my birthday June 18. Loving life rn I can only thank god for this because I’m so happy and excited!
I can tell the marketing got better, I have been running into new players a lot and I'm really enjoying that.
double edged sword, matchmaking is terrible so i end up with level 20 lights that have 0 clue whats going on

These players are complaining about having to play a mode before another one but can't even bother to take a tutorial...🤣🤦😭

My biggest tip for new players is to simply stay with your team. I'd rather see you get coined as a distraction than watch you get eaten by wolves halfway across the map. When you're that far there is nothing we can do to help. 🤣

I’ve noticed the frame drops but it’s usually when the giant tower in the middle gets destroyed. I was tired of people sniping up there so I took it down and then the whole round was just a laggy mess XD
It appears they have changed the terminal attack requirements, they just announced it on The Finals discord.
I tried to get a friend to try out this game and he had to play 5 matches in TA. He playd 2 and then quit. I told him about the other game mode but I already lost him.

Facts me too bro that sucks fr because even while trying to explain to him the other modes it’s just to much of a bad time in terminal attack to finish 5 games of a 13 round TA , when I started it forced me in power shift and I fell in love with the game … no one falling for TA

I just wish they would change at least something in TA because it feels like any other competitive shooter gamemode. Cash out was at least very unique

As a person who has zero interest in ranked wether it's ta or cash out it's all a bit ridiculous to me. Like isn't world tour or whatever basically ranked? And isn't this season basically an operation health season for the cash out game mode as a ranked mode? Just chill the fuck out for a season, my god lol. Some games have "health" seasons where you get nothing.

Reason ranked system sucks is cuz it's TA
they force it on 5 games, 5 GAMES, when first came out I had to play like 30 games of quick cashout on casual just so I can play ranked.. I feel like people complain just about everything man.. its 5 games.. the finals is very different from every other game out there and this mode is the most common to every fps player so the mode is already known for them so they can focus on learning movements, recoils , gadgets etc.. Great video overall !

I'm not sure the leader board has anything to fo with your rank in world tours. My rank has never decreased, and it seems like all that matters is the numbers of rounds you play. Each round gives 1 point and you just need to play the mode.
If it is based around the leader board, then most people will need to be in the top 1000 to get the full reward.
gigz set up the 50k event and then chose his top lb 3 stack. wow
I got a friend who never played any shooters into the game to play with him and I lost it when I saw that he was locked in TA. I sat (I shit you not) 3 fucking hours just so he could complete his TA matches to start playing with him. I had to convince him that this wasn't the game's main gamemode after he expressed his frustration with the first matches and almost drops the game entirely. Wtf is Embark doing? Following the investor's advice to go the Valorant/CS route now? They're gonna sink the game faster than Activision killing franchises if they do that

It’ll be in the store as a bundle. More than likely in the next coming weeks with an update as usual. Remember they just got to work on those cosmetics and we hit 10k. So it’s not just the onesie anymore but all additional things like emotes, sfx, etc. The animations for the emotes seem motion capped and that requires a decent amount of studio time.

What i wanna say about terminal attack is that it has really divided my friends and who i grind with. I definitely wont be hitting diamond this season cause my boys just don't enjoy TA and now you're telling me i need to find 2 extra people for a 5 man? TA is a fine casual mode but man please bring back CO because i love this game but literally all of my friends that grind have practically quit.
I'm one of crazys who players ranked now I had my game with 2,not 1, 2 lvl 1 players. I guess game does not tall you which tip of TA you should play out of two. Other that, or somehow this two finished 5 games of TA, whithout leveling up, which is a show of a bad gameplay, and just jumped ranked. (I have a skreenshot of this)

Currently ran 400. Invis is too hard to see and lh1 needs to be nerfed for the sake of balance.
Also sonar in a positional game mode is silly, defeats purpose of setting up defence you instantly be spammed with 5+ sonars and then be aggressed by lights with camo that’s too hard to see

This game is made from chaos and fun not a competitive clone of Cod. I’ve already lost 8 of my friends calling this game trash because they had to play Terminal attack. This is a serious problem.
the fact twitch rivals is cashout is great, shows the core fast paced exciting gameplay.. however new players it will attract will then be forced to play TA... such a silly decision

TA works as a ranked mode because it is such a generic game mode. Cashout was what made the finals an interesting and unique game in the first place, replacing it completely to "make changes" was a mistake

I got my friends to try the finals again after not playing for a couple months they told me the only thing that was busted were the nukes and RPG nothing else had to be touched if anything things needed to be buffed to compete with the heavy class
adding power shift destroyed the games Integrity of the classes and weapons because they had to nerfed things to make it more balanced for that game mode🤦♂

New players are going to get into the game and get obliterated by the LH1 because that is the only fun thing about The Finals right now and then players are going to complain about the funnest weapon in the game and then it's going to get Nerfed to the ground instead of making the other weapons fun. The medium and heavy class are probably the most boringest classes in the game, the nerf stripped their fun aspects of the classes the weapons are peaceShooters slow movement nothing is fun about them
