I wondered about those neighbors, too. Every shot in the video shows well-maintained lawns; what's the problem with running a mover over the place before it is a hayfield?
Yea, we mow and snowblow for our elderly neighbor right next to us all the time. I'm thinking of seeing if the elderly man that lives kitty corner (would have to drive mower/snowblower around the block) needs help too. He's been looking like he is moving a bit more gingerly lately.

Well done Tim! Sad to see that the surrounding neighbors lawns are all so manicured but doesn't look like any of them cared to ask him if he needed any help. Are we all too busy living our lives not to notice and help.....
I agree with you. What's the problem? Even those young boys were inside on their bums watching Tim do volunteer work. Disgusting.
Some people actually can't (physical, mental, or money limitations). Others just don't even give it a thought to begin with. I pick up a lot garbage on my block; most people can, but won't pick up garbage, while others throw it on the ground.
Today I picked up a delivery envelope with an address some 20 miles from me. How it got to my town, let alone on my lawn, remains a mystery.
If it's as bad or worse then I think they continue to need your help. I'd love to watch again. Thanks for sharing. I watched the Live and this posted video😁💞

Hey Tim, that was a super clean up. I don't think i've ever seen so much hay on a residential mow before. And please be careful mowing near the road, looks like you almost had some close calls with those cars. Take care mate.

We take care of the elderly lady that lives next door, we mow and snowblow for her. Even if you can't take care of multiple houses besides your own at least try to help at least 1 neighbor.
Hopefully you go back a few times to keep it under control.

Should you do again? Well has owner any better or is capable, this may sway your answer. At end of day decision is yours. Or viewers. Good luck, I think you should, neighbourhoods should pitch in where possible to help thy neighbour. 👍
You should partner with companies that make lawn equipment. Use this yard a the "test yard". Come back every 4 months with a new brands mower/trimmer/blower. The guy gets his lawn mowed. You get paid to test the products. The companies get views on youtube....

Great transformation Tim. Unfortunately, mowing the weeds spreads the seeds and it will always be a problem unless there is an intervention with a selective herbicide.

What brand edger do you use?
you know I get neighbors not wanting to help each other out and get used but when you have disabled neighbors or single parent neighbors struggling to just put food on the table it amazes me they wont help out.
I saw once where an elderly ladies neighbors turned her in for not mowing and she was at risk of a huge fine so she got scissors and started clipping the grass when her neighbors down the street saw it and sent their kids to do it for free. I get not helping the lazy but when people are struggling why not?

The long grass reduces sound it reduces the sunlight and in the the summer it makes a pufferzone so the soil doesn't heat up so much and by evaporation it cool down the local microclimate
