That's so awesome! It's a nice one to play. The last run is a bit of a hard one but it just takes practice. We made sure it was the most accurate transcription possible, as we do with all of our tabs. I hope it helps!
The piece is actually named "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12-24)", and appears on the 1995 'Dead Winter Dead' album by the band Savatage. This Savatage album was one of many produced by the late-great Paul O'Niell - who founded - along with Savatage, the act we know today as Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Great work, by the way!
Just saw them in Atlanta the other night. First time seeing them and the entire performance was mind blowing. Not only are all of the musicians incredible, the show and experience is just something everyone should witness.
@@AndyMcKeeFanForLife I get that… but as someone that has seen them, I would go even after Xmas. The show is too good to pass up, even if the whole holiday vibe is a little expired.
Trans Siberian orchestra? Never thought I’d see it get covered by you. Now you have to do a Savatage song. Criss Oliva is the most under-appreciated guitar player ever
Christmas Eve Sarajevo (This song is also called Carol of the bells) is part of Savatage album Dead winter dead. So practically Mr Tab have already cover also Savatage 😉👍😁....not only TSO.....but your suggestion is really a good one😉....Savatage are really the TOP
Criss Oliva is criminally underrated. The guitar was an extension of his body for sure. Such a tragic story. We will definitely throw some Savatage in the "to do" pile!
I was at a TSO concert on the 11th, the show was fantastic!! They played this song twice, once somewhere around the middle of the setlist, and then even louder and with more improv than usually comes with live performances than the first time at the end of the concert. Tons of fun.
Thank you Mr.Tabs for providing us this brand new Guitar tab early enough for us to practice before christmas, better than last year! I You are a kind guitarist!
Wow! I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra and I have gone to between 17 and 20 shows over the years. Out of all the terrific music they make, my single most favorite moment in any of the songs and/or shows is when Al Pitrelli of the West Group holds those guitar high notes...I know nothing about instruments so not sure of the technical name for those. F 22s? So cool that you posted this and I got to see those up close. 👍🤟😉
@@facundo1978 Peter Joseph Wilhousky wrote the English lyrics (with choral arrangement), not the music. Original lyrics and music are by Mykola Dmytrovych Leontovych.
I absolutely love the way you have the tabs with showing how to play it. It makes it so easy to understand. Can you please do one on telegraph road by dire straits. That song needs more love than it gets.
I just picked up eleitric guitar and looking for a song that i can play for Christmas and I found this one so thank you i will start practicing to play it
Thanks for the guitar lesson, i remember when I first heard this i was s#itting gold bricks: OMG Metallica and Steve Vai made a metal Christmas song!!! I found out about TSO and been a fan since 🎉
For anyone wondering: You DON'T need a capo on 2nd fret for the intro, you can simply play the 7th fret of the B string (instead of that open high E string note) and it will sound exactly the same 🤘
Not exactly the same as you don’t get the notes all ringing together. (At least that’s what I’m hearing when I listen to the song). But you are right! It would be the same notes!
Thanks! Yes it’s a lovely guitar. The wine red finish is super classy. It’s a shame they don’t make them this color anymore (I’m sure you could probably custom order it, but it seems like they only have black and white in their production models).
@@Mr.Tabs.Guitar.Lessons O.K. so I got everything down but that crazy fast legato/sweep part, but I love practicing it and then I need like 2 days off for hand cramps lol. But love your vids.
i know you likely won’t see this, but a song i love so much with so many small intricacies is Say Hello 2 Heaven by temple of the dog, it’s a beautiful song that i would love to see a proper tab to. Have a great holiday!
@@josephkunath4173 I thought they’ve kind of gotten better over the last few years? I could be wrong but I though that new management has put them back on the right track? Either way, the price tag on them is insane these days. But then again.. so is the price tag on everything nowadays it seems.
I want to ask your Mr.Tabs, if possible could you make the tabs for Parisienne walkways by Gary Moore but the Albert hall live version? Hope you see this comment and make the tabs for the song. Love your content!
Awesome! What do you think about missing the feel of a real valve amp where the output valves fight the inductance of the valve output transformer which itself is competing with the inductance of the speakers? I guess the future is going to be perfect sound modelling but not real amp response.
This is really cool. I busk for a living and at this time of year this stuff is really cool, so thank you 🎄🍾🎸🤟😁 and I'm sure I can learn this in one hour. The music for the carol comes from the song written by the Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych in 1914.

I recently saw them for the first time too and I completely agree. They were amazing!
Want to see them but seems like every performance near me is after Christmas which doesn't seem like the appropriate time for a TSO concert...
