Hey Jerry. Jesse here from Louisiana. Just checking on you and Joanie to see if you guys are safe and whether you and your family made it through Helene okay? Our prayers are with all of you! 🙏🙏
How do I securely & safely mount it in my 5W? I have been researching, comparing with BB, LiTime, etc. The LiTime 560 AH has a similar size BMS, but is 50% more cost & heavier. Fighting CCC in my 5W, this might be the best compromise for cost & weight. We do Harvest Host, but also Camp Hosting. My combo of both roof & ground mount panels would be near the limit if the recommended 92 amps if charging. Through being in a canyon with trees I have to get as much charging when I get the opportunity window. My wife is the district manager running her computer, printer, & Internet all day. We existed previously with two 100AH batteries, but was limited to a smaller inverter. I figure with 460 AH we have that comfortable buffer in which we do not have to run our backup generator like a clock every day. If we can wait a bit, we can opportunity charge a bit more. We also run a Renogy DC-DC charger when on the road to aid after our Harvest Host stops. Cheers, David - KU9L
I use these cam straps and cut to size amzn.to/4dX2aJL. I screw one of these tie downs to the floor front and back of the battery amzn.to/3BQnYtn then run the strap front and back of the tie downs and over the battery. The battery doesn’t budge in our travels. Don’t worry about the 92 amps. My solar charger runs 40A to 50A depending on sun and haven’t had a problem. We’ve been using the 460Ah since the video and it’s been solid.
Jerry, didn’t see any videos from you this week. Hoping everything is ok with you and the family given the tremendous devastation Hurricane Helene in the southeast? Prayer out to everyone effected!
I don’t have an inverter that will run a 15k BTU RV air conditioner. We can use a conversion chart to estimate. Assuming a hot day and the AC operating at a 75% duty cycle, AC has a soft start installed, no other devices are using battery power, and no external charging such as solar, around 4 to 5 hours.
Just checked the price - a little bit over my price..But since we don't do a LOT of boondocking if any, its something we don't need at the moment..Thanks for the video..

We were fortunate. We missed the worst of it. Southeast and Northeast part of Georgia stuffed most. Appreciate you checking on us.

All’s good. Appreciate the concern. We’re on hold for a few weeks.
In the intro you say it's 560aH but the label shows 460aH. Whoopsie.
Excellent content
Thanks Ed
Would Like to see if you can and for how long you could run AC

Thanks for watching
Wouldn’t it be more practical to buy two of the 300ah self heating batteries for less money?
That’s an option if you have the storage area and the 200 amps BMS isn’t an issue.
can someone explain how to install an "accesory" outlet? And how would I plug my installed microwave to my inverter?
DC 11.9v x 268 A = 3189 watts
AC 2870 watts
Eff. = 90.0%
$1200? Waaaay too expensive. For that much money you can buy 1100 AH of the Newtipower brand, more than twice the capacity.
