About halfway through this video the car drives over the finish line of the Boston Marathon. This is where the two bombs went off in 2013. It's too bad you don't get to see more of what is on the side of the road for example they drive right past Copley Square which has some of the finest architecture in this part of the country and at the end on the left where you see all the trees that's the beginning of the Boston Common.
Oh I hate driving in Boston! I was born in Mass but Boston always is such a headache! Crazy drivers, narrow one way streets, and a ton of pedestrians in a lot of areas make for an exciting drive. Not to mention if you aren't familiar with the freeways, you better stay off! I always say in Mass the speed limit is a suggestion lol. It's not uncommon to see 85-90 mph drivers in a 70 zone. Hold on to your hats!
This is bad traffic to you lmfao? I'm from Toronto and believe me this isn't anything in comparison. Where are you from for this to be bad traffic, that's what I would like to know 😂.
Boston is, in my opinion , the only beautiful city in the usa. It looks a bit like Amsterdam holland ; my home town. Nearly all the city's in the usa are very ugly blocks , and more blocks. ..how is it possible that someone can live there..?
werkspoortje-I actually like how the USA looks generally. I agree on most of the buildings. But your country for example, is so gloomy and rainy and grey.. depressive at times.
The Dutch are so goddamn smug & condescending. You really don't think San Francisco or Seattle are beautiful? USA streets may be too car oriented but I'm not sure I want to be some pretentious twig on a bicycle listening to cheesy Eurodance in the Netherlands either.
and flat and boring, donr forget to mention Netherlands is too flat and boring no mountains like Switzerland and also NYC is pretty nice too aswell San Francisco, all 3 cities are more walkable than even Amsterdam
Well the population is getting close to 700,000 now but during business hours it climbs to over 1,200,000 making the Boston area the top 4 most densely populated areas in the U.S.
樱满遠くの穹 no 665,000 residents including students (BOSTON PROPER) .... Over 1 million and more during the day (BOSTON PROPER) ..... one of the smallest major cities in America in area ... These are facts. I’m born and raised ❤️❤️❤️
@@Jon_Nadeau_ Boston is the third most densely populated U.S. city as of 2010. Boston just passed Chicago in density in 2010 to become the third most densely populated U.S. city. Only New York City and San Francisco have higher density rates than Boston.
This is kind of Erie... theres not one black person I've seen on the streets here.. when i seen the streets of Boston on the sitcom Cheers,. I thought the city was slow diversing itself but what i see here its all white.. i i don't know there might be some Jewish people and Hispanics., but atlease in most citys in mid America has some diversity in it... here it seems like you step back in time in the 1950s accept with iPhones, ear buds, and more fat people...
The city has gotten a lot more diverse since the 1980's and is one of the most diverse cities in the country but the metro area as a whole and New England in general are very white as a result can appear to be less diverse than might be expected. This is also just one street in the city in on of the whitest neighborhoods on the edge of the business district and doesn't give a good representation of what the whole city is like.
Given how few people are on the streets during this, I'm guessing it must have been shot on a Sunday morning. On a weekday the streets are filled with office workers and weeknights and weekends especially the streets are full of people going to restaurants and such. You would see a lot more diversity then. If these are all just people that live around the neighborhood yes that area Boston is mostly White and very affluent. But Boston is a much more diverse city than when I moved here in the seventies to go to university.
Once again, the video quality is awesome!
Thanks!
Superb quality video.. thank you
Back to back videos. ... You're On fire

There is no 70 mph zone in Massachusetts, and for Boston specifically the speed limit on the interstate is 55 mph which makes it worse. lol
Nice.
Traffic, congestion, bad pavement, unsynchronized traffic lights...you can have it.
Richard Dey Oh come on. I love Boston. Been several times but hey synchronizing sections of the lights is not rocket science.
Dude... this city is nice... you have a really bad taste in cities...

Is it a go pro?
the whole area at the beginning of the video will most likely be filled with skyscrapers in a few years due to air rights
over the turnpike

Have you been to Philadelphia? Very beautiful city

Boston has a urban population of only 600,000.but city too big.
Well the population is getting close to 700,000 now but during business hours it climbs to over 1,200,000 making the Boston area the top 4 most densely populated areas in the U.S.
The Boston urbanized area has a population of just over 4 million people. The city is just a small part of the total urbanized area.

it will reach 700k next year
