RECIPE:
Preheat Oven to 350F
-Thawed Turkey Breast Bone in Skin on
(marinate in warm salt water for 45 minutes)
-Season Turkey to Taste
(I used: Salt, Pepper, Complete Seasoning, garlic powder, butter, chicken powder.)
-Loosely Cover with Foil
-Cook 45 minutes ( Times may vary) I overcooked mine!!! Sorry!!!
VEGGIES:
Oven 400F
Potatoes 40 minute cook time
-Brussel Sprouts 30 min
-Mushrooms 30 min
-Onion 30 min
-Cherry Tomato 20 min
-Green Beans 30 min
-Season with Olive Oil, Salt, & Pepper.
Honestly you can cook the veggies at equal times but give the Potatoes a bit extra time!

Boiled dinner with cabbage
Goulash
Scalloped Potatoes w/ham
Cheddar Broccoli Soup
Chili
Potato Soup
Shepard’s pie (using hamburger)
As for dessert......
Carrot Cake w/cream cheese frosting
Shepards Pie : ingredients
Burger
Mashed potatoes
Mixed vegetables
Jar gravy
Shredded cheese
Brown Burger 90/90 depending how much you make for the amount of burger(if a good size pot, use couple pounds of meat)- the meat goes in the bottom of pot, then add 2 jars of beef gravy into the meat.THEN layer the vegetables on top of meat, add salt and pepper and butter to taste. THEN add the mashed potatoes
(Instant are fine, there are many flavors to use, cook as directed on the package)
Then top with Shredded cheese of choice. Add to crock pot cook on low for 4 hours or until bubbly hot or Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, in the oven or until golden brown. I have also browned the burger with peppers, onion and mushrooms, then add the gravey. I HATE to say this Larry, BUT... my husband is also has a plain palette ! I also cook many things separate from the rest. But this dish also provides a complete meal in one. I hope you try it !

Would be lovely if you can have your dad do a video on how to prep a thanksgiving dinner or just how to make a good turkey.. the food he makes always looks amazing!! My first time making turkey this year and it would be so helpful!
Mel Vicci May I suggest you use a cooking bag. It makes the turkey so much easier (in my opinion) and the turkey is still moist when it comes out. Good luck!
Love love LOVE purple potatoes!!! Made and ate them for the first time yesterday with a roast in the crock pot with a beef roast. We grew them in our garden this summer. Different, but delicious!!
I love making beef stroganoff with alot of onions, mushrooms and carrots with rice for the fall💕
The potatoes take a good 45-50 min to bake and that is if you cut them all in 1/2! Sometimes it good to par boil them, then put them in the oven! That turkey looked delicious! I would uncover it for the last 15 minutes to the the outside a bit more done!
Pinterest has great crockpot ideas! Beef stew is a good one, and I love doing pulled pork in the crock when having guests over. Makes it so easy and there’s so much! Grab soft rolls, some coleslaw and potato salad and bahd-a-bing- easy meal for a group!!

One of my go to fall favorites is loaded potato soup.
Ingredients:
potatoes (around 6 medium sized, diced into small pieces), an onion (diced), a carton of chicken broth, 2 lb block of Velveeta cheese (cut into cubes), 2 cans of cream of chicken, 6 scallion onions (diced), bacon bits and shredded cheese.
Directions: place your potatoes, onion and chicken broth in a large pot (you may need to add extra broth or water to make sure your potatoes are covered), set your stove top to medium/high and cook until potatoes are tender. Add cubed Velveeta cheese and cream of chicken, cook on low stirring constantly until cheese is melted. Garnish with scallion onion, bacon bits and shredded cheese.
Note: only use half of the cubed Velveeta cheese if you would like your soup to be less cheesy.
A go to meal for fall is Chili and a go to dessert is Pumpkin Cupcakes.

Sauerkraut and a pork roast with BBQ sauce in the Crock-Pot all together cook the pork separate Shred the pork up and put your sauerkraut and barbecue in 4 another 40 to 50 minutes on high. Then you can make mashed potatoes with it or either eat it on a bun. Found that recipe At a sauerkraut Festival.
Soy coke chicken! An 8oz can or a single serve bottle of coke and soy sauce and just some chicken thighs and cook on low all day(6-8hours) sometimes o also put some orange soda in it as well and I serve with mashed potatoes or rice!

Awww......just had to comment on the cranes...so nice to hear. In California we used to hear and watch parrots fly by. And here in Alaska I used to live by a crane and duck field named Cramer’s Field in Fairbanks Ak (sanctuary for birds) and the most exciting part was when they would head South for the winter. There was so many and you could hear them. 😁 ......just something I enjoy, I guess.
Oh! I’ll take that empty paper towel roll!...lol. Our family dog Sophie loves to take them and walk around with it all around the house and tries not to smash it, but drool a bit while looking just so adorable. 🙂💖
My go to meal for fall is ground beef with potato soup. You add a whole container of chicken broth and pre-made green salsa.

Henkle knives are the greatest! There's a few different tiers of quality, but even the basic ones are amazing. My grandma has had hers for over 40 years and they're still great. And I love mine too! Highly recommend!

I found your channel a while back and I find you two just adorable. I'm 62 years old my husband is the same age but it doesn't matter. We can't help who we love or who comes into our life. I saw your dr. Phil episode and it made me feel really sad that people are so mean. I have been a nurse for 38 years and no longer work because of Ms but I had a patient one time. He was 30 years older than her and their love was just astounding you could tell she just doted over him she wasn't very attractive there wasn't anything special about her except for she loved him and he was a very handsome man. Later I found out they lived by me and and he owns the marinas down the road he's quite wealthy but you never know it. She was very very poor and was working she did not seek him out he came in for lunch at one of the restaurants on the water and was very kind to her. They ended up getting married even with the large age difference but you know what nobody here said a thing and in the hospital they had recognized me from the neighborhood so we ended up talking more when she would walk her dog. They're still going strong and I'm sure their marriage will Outlast my two sons who were only married each for less than 7 years. God bless you both

My crock pot is my best friend. I go on a website called spend pennies or less. I wont use a recipe if it has 5 or more ingredients. I cant afford it. However my favorite thing I make is French onion soup

Love our sandhill cranes!! We have a family here (mom dad and hatchling). Our kids call them the Boyer Birds lol. The dad is always telling mom to keep moving during their morning foraging. 😂 Apparently reminds them of my husband and I in the store 🤦♀️😂

We did crockpot hot chocolate a couple years ago (can’t remember the recipe) that i saw on Facebook it was sooooo amazing. Think I gained 5 pounds just by looking at it but it was so worth it, you should totally try it. We did it Christmas Eve

You can cook the veggies the same amount time as the turkey and it will actually turn out better! I cook chicken, onions, tomatoes, all my veggies in the same pan and it comes out perfect and less work! It looks good! Great video btw! I love your shirt!
My go to fall meal is a easy toad in the hole. I use Pancake/Yorkshire pudding mix and then sausages. Your meal looks so nice I will have to make it sometime also you should make more of these cooking videos
