Thank you for the steps. I am able to now use TPlink Ax73 with Airtel xstream Nokia router on port 2 as bridge mode. I am getting good speed but the latency of unloaded and loaded is double when connected to Tplink router then directly connected to Airtel Nokia router. Please suggest how to reduce the latency?
@@geekytwins Thank you for your response. I have used the cable which came free with the AX73 router, it is a cat 5e cable. I will buy a cat 6a or cat 7 cable and then will try if it solved the problem of latency. Will let you know the result.
@@geekytwins I replaced my cat5e ethernet cable with cat 7 cable which i bought on amazon but still same problem. The unloaded and loaded latency is very high on tplink router. Is there any setting which i can change on airtel nokia router or tplink router to resolve the issue?
have you taken static IP and enabled bridge mode from backend because it is not working for me. Also, does unlocking the router helps in over coming this situation ?
Humlo brdr, no, you don't need static IP to enable bridge mode, even though that's what Airtel CC folks say. In some Nokias, like mine, bridge mode can be enabled without any help from the backend, as shown in the video, but if this method doesn't work with you Nokia, you need to contact Airtel CC to enable it from the backend, just pester them enough and mail at 121@airtel.in as well.
will this work with TP-Link Archer AX3000 AX50 [ I have static ip aswell so it should be no problems i guess right? but i'm in the uk not india. My main terminal is locked so i want separate router so i can control my network open ports and stuff.
@@geekytwins Hey again i've got the second router the same as in your video. My isp enabled bridge mode and i was able to connect to the internet. But do you know how to force router to use Static IP. It connects to shared one.
After connecting TP link router in bridge mode, the WLAN (WiFi) is on in both Nokia GPON ONT and as well as TP link router? Can I switch off the WiFi on Nokia and use only TP links WiFi for the devices connection?

Can you check if the LAN light is up when you connect the router to you ONT? If not, then it won't work, you'll have to get bridge mode enabled from the backend.
Hello brdr, you need to check your Airtel Xstream connection details in your Airtel thanks app, scroll to the bottom of the page and there you'll find Account Number, that Account Number is the password.

Haillo brdr, try using a better cable between the two devices.
Normally, latency doesn't increase as much as it does in your case so it's quite odd.

This is quite concerning! Ping me on Discord!
Bro if i do the same is there any ping issue while playing bgmi ? Coz airtlel router is very pathetic and i have bought ax53
The ping gets even more stable in bgmi, I did test for my setup.

Bro i have dasan router for my airtel fiber and bridge mode not showing
Ask Airtel CC to activate it from backend, this technique only works for Nokia.

@@geekytwins yeah you have to call your isp if you want to get one. I used to have but it was gone. It was isp fault. They gave me another one

Probably that your current ONT is having disconnection issues or random restarts, etc.

Not possible in TPF's Nokia ONT since its firmware is pretty locked down.
ye router mein automatical reboot schedule karna ka feature hai?
Yes brdr, it's available.
@@geekytwins kaha pe, i tried to find but mila nahi
Brdr, Nokia doesn't have this feature, I was referring to Archer AX53.
@@geekytwins acha thank you!
After enabling bridge mode the led doesnot blink anymore and there is no connection through that port route mode works fine
Hello brdr, I suggest power cycling your ONT. Happened to me too but rebooting it fixed it.
Ive done the same setup in my tp link and airtel when i click connect its not connecting and ip is in 0.0.0.0

Default Airtel Router Not Good. Konsa XPON Router Purchase Karu jisme Range, Speed badiya Milega ??? 🤔
Get the TP-Link XZ000-G7 XPON terminal, bro and use your own router. I'd recommend Archer C6 or Archer AX12 or Archer AX23, if you have the budget.
Good Job
Very good video keep it up !!
Airtel says i have to get postpaid and static ip to enable bridge mode
Yes, that's a prerequisite for getting static IP, yes.
keep it up 😃
I dont knw my airtel pppoe password. How do i find?
Probably is the same password to login to your router (use this password as the username and password for the pppoe connection)

Yes, it may not work for some folks since Airtel works in mysterious ways😂
It didnt work bridge mode the wan is not detected by other router
