Great recipe! I'm not new to baking pavlovas. But I'm so reassured to hear you say that you're not worried about the cracks in the finished product. I've done a Christmas wreath pavlova and it cracks everytime. Even if I let it cool overnight in the oven. Wish there was a way to share the picture of it here with you. I don't use Instagram. Nonetheless, I'm going to try your recipe mainly because of the crown! Thanks for sharing!
That looks delicious! How do you stop the meringue ring from browning in the oven? I've had a couple of issues with that before. Any tips? Oooo and I absolutely love your videos. Hopefully I can come to one of your book signings

What does the cornflour and vinegar do? I’ve never seen that added to a meringue
Cornflour for the texture (probably) and then vinegar helps achieve a bright white colour
Cornflour gives a soft inside and the vinegar being an acid stabilises the meringue.
can you make something with just a regular whisk...? if that's possible... btw love your work :)
