Fun fact gully I was actually used to my mom serving roti with either jam or kesar mango pulp as a dip when I was a kid. So it’s very heartwarming to see chocolate go will Roti😊

Not really. I am sure a lot of creative South Asian mothers came up with creative ways to incorporate chocolate flavours into their roti within the past 40 years.
I even vaguely remember a food stall as a kid, selling what was like sugar roti but instead if sugar it had a gooey chocolate filling 😍.
Tho I have never seen or even thought of ice cream WITH roti. But seems like a logic step from the regular curd/sour yogurt dipping for sour roti 😂.

Gully in 4th grade my classmate would bring this sweet flatbread with the tiniest chocolate chips in it, it was so good you should do it with roti like a chocolate chip flavored roti. She was from ghana and I still can’t find this recipe anywhere😭
My mama makes us gur wala paratha, here's how you can make it, you put gur in water and when gur is all dissolved in the water, you knead your dough with that water(dissolved in gur) also add some ghee or oil in it. It's difficult to handle but my mama does it pretty well. You put it on the pan and put ghee on it again just like with a paratha.
It's not super sweet but still we like it, we sometimes have it with achar too.

Well now that you've basically crossed the line of no return, you might as well go all out by making a MATCHA ROTI or a COFFEE ROTI, or you can try various types FRUIT FLAVORED ROTI by adding the fruit in its powdered form with the flour (idk if you can buy that or if you need to dehydrate the fruit and blend it) and if you're going in the fruit direction, you can make a COCKTAIL ROTI by adding all the fruits together with the flour (since you kinda did the same thing with the salts and sugars)
