One of my favorite parts of Cameron’s style is the absolute ease and apparent lack of effort he shows. Everything is so controlled, it gives me a good standard to aspire to.
All we need now is Brace Legs. Had the pleasure of seeing them live when they attended their first summer Slaughter. A new reign had just dropped. Absolutely brutal performance. "FUCKING BOW DOWN".
Just watched them live in Bangalore, India about a couple of days ago; they absolutely tore the stage apart. Cameron is a straight-up, well, machine. Fitting song name. Absolute legends, these boys. Cannot wait to see 'em again.
I have listened to these guys for a few years and always loved the drumming thank you for spotlighting the drummer great to see the man behind the kit do his thing! what a beast!
First time I saw these guys was at the Multiplex in Madison, AL. Which is the most random tiny little venue next to a gas station. My best friend had a band and he was lead vocals and we hung out with BOO after the show and they all signed my iPod Touch which I sadly don't have anymore. Good group of guys. Cameron is a beast drummer.
Well, because I love my hometown of Madison I will stop in here and say I played with Darkest Hour in Madison, Alabama when I still went to Bob Jones High School years ago, small freaking world.
God I remember when this album released! So freaking sick! Cam is a damn bossssss. Drum goals! I'm rockin HCS rn but I can't wait to expand into some Meinl Classic Customs eventually! Keep it coming Meinl and BOO!
Wow! I am SO amazed at you and your bands travel. Very cool to see. I have so many questions I could write a book 😝 What has been your favorite place you are visited? How do you get from city to city? Have you met any cool and interesting people? Have you made any new fans? I am so proud of you. This morning I told our neighbor about your “tour” and she was very impressed! She wants a Born of Osiris t-shirt signed by all the members. I would like one as well and so does aunt Jane. Our little rockstar! 🎸🌟 love ya! Any plans to travel to Seattle? Pop and I went there in the 90s and fell in love with it. The space needle is SO neat 😁 love ya! Be careful! Stay away from the groupies, their always causing trouble. Remember to eat healthy…Stay away from processed foods. Fresh fruits and veggies are fab (meaning fabulous). How’s Cameron doing? Tell him I say hi! Remember the first day you two became friend? I sure do! Remember I’m always only a phone call away. Don't forget about us when you make it big 🤣 love ya!
I remember seeing BOO in Chicago when the Cubs were going to the World Series like 6 years ago, and seeing Joe Buras do a backflip during this song. My eyes and ears were on Cameron though, so technically precise and such a steady groove. I was hooked from then so it's awesome seeing a playthrough of my favorite BOO song. Fuck yeah Cameron!
Cameron is my favorite Drummer/song writer. He writes in Born of Osiris. You can tell he plays with intention. You'll never see him struggle with anything, he's rock solid. I also love Dan from After the Burial, he plays some insane stuff, it's a brain full, every single song.
I thought this song was titled, "M∆chine" 😁Anyways, thanks for the cool performance. After Angel or Alien released, I noticed that Born of Osiris has been absolutely locked-in on a two-year album/EP cycle since their first EP in 2007. Every odd-numbered year, there has been a new BoO studio release, so I'm expecting to hear more from these men very soon!
3:28 is KILLER! General question: I noticed that the cymbal on your left, as you're riding on it, is going in a circle. Is that a result of how tight the nut is on the cymbal stand? Are all of the nuts that loose? It's a great visual, intentional or not!
2 года назад+2
Loose nuts + hitting motion. Always keep your cymbals loose, no need to tighten them very much. And always hit your cymbals with an angle and some wrist motion. All of this prevent them from breaking.
Would love a series of Cameron playing thru a whole album.
Do you even know how much energy and time that would take? That video would be hours long
@@ricebag2622 no longer than playing a live show 🤷♂️
And I don't mean ALL albums back to back. I mean a single album start to finish.
YESS!
Dan for Ne Obliviscaris kinda did that although not in one long video but hes got a playthrough of one of their entire albums.
@@ricebag2622how would the video be hours long when none of their albums are “hours” long?🤔😂
Cameron will forever be one of my favorite drummers of all time. Dude absolutely slays.
The real MVP of Born Of Osiris
Cam may be the brains behind BoO, but everyone knows the band wasn't the same since you-know-who left.
What you talking about?.. Angle or Alien is a fucking masterpiece of an album
@@AttilatheThrillatrue
@@mammontustado9680 the discovery isn't even their best work. it's third at best
@@mammontustado9680 Cameron wrote AND played all of their first album, His writing styles matched perfectly well with Jason. To me Cameron Is the band
The bass drum accents throughout this paired with the hihat/splash and bell work make this an absolute masterpiece.
Damn this is so sick to see

It’s because what he’s playing is super simple 😂
@@boobtubenoob7061not really, as a death metal drummer myself he hits some complex combos
This guy makes everything look so simple. Amazing drummer!
Cameron is a Wizard and a true OG in the game. Also one of the nicest dudes around 😊

Great flair, awesome fills, and enough freshness while keeping the beat..... amazing performance!

Dwmn you know its good when you see his composer at the start of this video. SOLID!
Saw born in 09 (and tosin filled in on guitar for them before jason was in the band). Cam absolutely nailed his parts. Extremely clean player.
Old school listener here as well, crazy to see how far this band has come. Dont listen much anymore but the old stuff still hits when I do hear it
Very good drummer. There is a lot of things I appreciate from you. Keep the good playing coming. Amazing base drums patterns btw.

"are you a lefty or a righty ?"
Cameron Losch: "yes"
This guy makes playing hard music he creates look easy 😂. One of the best drummers out there to date!
Doesn't even break a sweat. Hats off. This guy's a legend
I know it's a cymbal channel, but good god can we get a foot cam on this man please?
Very tasty playing. Made extensive use of use of the cymbals and it complimented the music nicely.
