Rough Cut Red Cedar Plank To Table - Part 1 - Homemade Router Jig

I cut a beautiful Red Cedar tree down for my wife's grandparents over a year ago. I hauled the bulk of the wood home. While I was cleaning my wood pile up and burning most of it, I hated to burn all of this. The wood was still fantastic looking. I had a long 3 foot section, so I grabbed my chain saw and ripped me a rough plank. No it was not perfect. I wasn't expecting it to be. I let it sit and dry in the building for a while and it warped more than what it already was.
I made a box and sled for my router and leveled it flush, then sanded it. This is part 1. I have ideas for part 2 to finish it. Be sure to watch until the end!
