Sadly, Mr. Lama, along with Mr. Auer and Roskelly, is now gone. A terrible loss.

David and two of his colleagues died in an avalanche
on Howse Peak, Canada, in April 2019. After reaching the summit via the East face, the disaster happened on the descent.
Very sad for all three, their families, and David’s millions of admirers. RIP.........

Got one for you how about tomek the Polish climber man did he ever put in the work trying to reach summit of Nanga Parbat 7 times I've read Elizabeth revol french climber says they summited Parbat in 17' but.......anyways I definitely would have loved to become a mountaineer Alpine style for sure but I'm a little too old to start anything like that now 58. Anyway I enjoy all the article's on mountain climbers there are very very many good climbers

As the saying goes, there are old climbers and there are bold climbers, but there are very few old ,bold climbers.

Is it just me or is he actually puzzled by the idea of slate? 2:37

It's not the idea of slate, it's the word 'slate'. English isn't his first language.
