  • Replacing the engine beam bushes on VAG cars is a real challenge and often it is only half-done due to an unusual solution. The set consists of 2 bushings (lower and upper) between which the rear engine mount is mounted. For proper repair, the bushings have to be aligned evenly. This is crucial for trouble-free mounting of the engine mount. In addition, the hole for the engine mount should be blocked so that the new bushings are not damaged when they are pressed in, as they have a plastic outer lining and much larger than the diameter than the socket. Without a specialized tool, it is easy to damage the newly pressed bushings, which further complicates the replacement process.
The new TED31041 puller from TEDGUM comes to the rescue in this situation. Thanks to the solutions used, the process runs smoothly without having to remove the beam from the car. The repair can be carried out by one person. Efficient exchange is much faster generating large savings. The raw material used, plain bearings and triangular thread make the puller an extremely durable tool. The puller is used in 20 models of extremely popular cars.
    Applications:

We do not have the knowledge regarding the car you mentioned, but if the engine suspension is based on the same components as in cars mentioned in our catalogue, then it should also be applicable. The full list of applications can be found in the "USED IN VEHICLES" list under the product picture in our catalogue at: katalog.tedgum.pl/items/VEdfW1QtODg5Nl1URUQzMTA0MQ-tedgum-ejector-control-arm-bushing-ted31041

Replacing these bushing is a real pain if you don't have the right tool and the tools are usually very expensive and they are not universal for all VAG. I don't know why German engineers did not design a bushing system that can be held in place with a plate with bolts. there are many ways to make that nightmare a sweet dream. :/

According to our knowledge, the puller is compatible with VW Caddy III, but we do the knowledge regarding Caddy 2k, but if the engine suspension is based on the same components as in cars mentioned in our catalogue, then it should also be applicable.
