Not all lefties are anti gun. It's my understanding that groups like antifa and BAMN are very pro gun actually. to an extent, you are right. most of these people in my experience are just kids with issues to perhaps oversimplify a bit. they really have no practical understanding of what they are doing or how to go about doing it and really they are just in it because they want some sort of purpose and community, albeit a repulsive and violent purpose and community. That being said, it is dangerous to assume that they are all equally incompetent. there are some people who definitely know exactly what they are doing, who have been doing this for a long time, and who are willing to put in the time and effort to do something really dangerous as soon as they think they can get away with it.
and yes, I know that if some sort of communist revolution goes through, the proletariats can wave goodbye to their arms, but as of now, these people are not going to be the ones calling for gun control. The point of these groups is to get power for themselves. they would have a monopoly on guns if they could, which they would have as soon as they got into power. if they were for gun control now, pre revolution, that would mean that they would lose their guns and their power. once again, not a communist, not in favor of any of this. just trying to understand them a bit better.

I think it is a far bigger problem than just elites. These kids grew up with the internet. The ability to express themselves. Back in the day when we were young, we learned that you have to have a discussion, and ideas were not just for you but also someone else. Show respect and listen even if that opinion was so outrageous. These kids grew up with Facebook, Instagram, RUclips and what not. Platforms for expression people say. I say that they are platforms to exclude people who do not agree with you.
If an opinion is something you do not like or even facts you dislike you just block them. Throw away people who do not agree with you. Heck just disable comments and the like/dislike feature.
Now we have social studies at universities where 2nd generation idiots like that longneck professor teach kids that violence is ok against those that oppose you. And yeah he is right! We already block them online, why not shut them up in real too.
