I do not own the rights to any music/ instrumental used in this video.
Great color combo with red blue and chrome. Love the red bolts in the spider
That’s the prettiest TA I’ve seen, awesome job!
That t-shirt is awesome.
the seat throws the whole bikes look off but its a nice cruiser so a comfy seat is a must have
there are many comfy seats that match better than that horrible one!
That’s a big ass chainring for a 24”. I used to ride 44/16 on my Dyno Cruiser. Hard on the hills but boy it was fast on flat land!
I'm the midlife crisis guy. I'm 45 and I'm getting me a Skyway TA 24.
chud jackson me 2 , 45 years
I want 24inch tuffs though
I’m 49 & just bot me a 26’ Haro master but this bike makes me want to get it too
L P how much you want for it
I'm 48 and had one of these built up in 2015. Been riding it more than ever during lockdown.
What a beautiful bike!!!!! Nice build fellas.
very cool. went from meeting smosh to owning bike shop. congrats.
I’ve just bought a 24 frame and forks with a plan to add on some nice components. I’ve got graphite tuffs though for mine.
Hi very nice work, can you do the same on the skyway TA 20inc frame set with the same parts blue & chrome, and how much would this cost me, exactly the same specification but in the 20 inch frame set.
Cody and his family are the best. Elite is a place where I love to spend my money. lol
Shiiiit...Ain't nobody...body do it better.
Masterpiece!
That piece is gorgeous!!!
This is a sick build. I am going to use this as reference for my TA build I am just starting. Skyway advise I am on the fence between Skyway TA 24 and 26. I am 43 6'2" 175lbs. My gut says go 24 as the 26 just feels big. I have an 1982 TA I use to ride. Now it is display only. Thoughts?
Dia Comp Mx 1000s would be the proper brake setup for an 80s era bike. Black Tioga Comp III gumwall tires, an Elina seat with a lay back seat post, and single pinch Redline Flight 401s. The Hutch style pedals are killer looking but scarier than Jason from Friday The 13th.
Do you guys have a 1984 Mongoose with the original parts. And if so how much does it cost? And the race.guard in front of the handle bars aswell?
Am old school. 80sthanyou. 4 the nice. Video. Broo
Is that a standard size bottom bracket? Doesn't look like it. Redline Flights are the best looking cranks. Jmo
Clean
Rad👌
The Profile outboard Euro Bottom bracket is that a 68mm shell size. Thank you
yes
Hi on the TA is the BB a 19mm euro, please let me as I have the frame set and not sure about the BB, want to put in redline crank set.
The frame is euro
What size seat pole is that what brand is it??? Sweet build 👍👍👍
post, 27.2
please provide parts list for 20" skyway TA
Very Nice build !!! How much is a build like this ?
$2k
where can i buy this bike
Great video. nice editing is that Eminem playing? Lol
What is the weight of this setup?
Is an true piece of colection . Is an mechanic especialized for work.
7:54
Q: HUB and Freewheel together, as one..or separate parts..How many Teeths...
Brand..???
Nice familiar theme music.
How much currency would one need for such a piece?
around $2k+
How much would this bike costs?
This one was about $2200 built
What grease you use?
look like he has parktool assembly grease, but any grease will do (car stuff is cheaper)
Didn't grease the chain ring bolts, DXR brakes are heavy. I race bmx bikes, I run answer brakes, get em free from co-sponsors.
Jay Koons that's awesome! We weren't going for a lightweight build. These frames are about 7 pounds!
blue locktight is a better choice.
How much to build me this bike?
I'd forget to mention that minging saddle too!
Shoutout my local bike shop, elitebike shop one day hopefully my future sponsor & shoutout6061 bmx rideouts in Sacramento see you guys on July 15th if I have a bike by then🤘🏽📸 @bikelife_critter
How much was that set up
Around $2200
Ty for responding but was 2200 just parts or was that with labor
Just for parts. When someone buys a custom from us, we don't charge to build it.
Is this bike hard to get or are the parts rare? I mean don’t get me wrong, the bike is beautiful but why over 2 grand?
@@allenmorales1019 the profile parts used are top of the line. (nothing on this bike is low grade) the framesets are limited edition
Lovely bike but needs mags
parts list would be awsome
Go to 14 minutes in. Enjoy.
what no grease
he mentions grease and shows the tub of it several times.
I will never understand the 3 piece crank.
victimorthecrime why
Digitalxrp I guess he never bent garbage 1 piece before
@@kipdrippers I've broken 3 over my years of riding but it just seems to me the more moving parts the more room for failure. I have never used a 3 piece so I don't have any experience with them.
@@victimorthecrime 1 piece are heavy, only use cheap unsealed bottom brackets and bend/break very fast if you street ride hard.
good video kill music it is anoying when your giving good info
Cut the forks ffs the headset is an eye sore
I dont understand choosing a stem that drops the bars and then stacking it up on the steerer tube higher. just use a top load stem
I hate the sound of that freewheel.
the trend these days seems to be louder the better. they sound obnoxious to me and you soon wish they would shut up on a long downhill. (if you pack more grease in them some brands will get quieter)
Blue tires just ruin the whole look of that otherwise super nice build....colored tires make it look like it belongs in a circus with a clown riding it...lol.. should be normal colored tires w/ blackwall
gdub454 Blue tires were very common in the mid 80’s on chrome bikes with blue parts. Looks great in my opinion. Of course it’s subjective.
you must know nothing about 80's skyway heritage if you think that.
