I just purchased this guitar package deal. It's a good for a starter guitar rig. The guitar plays exceptionally well. The amp sounds good for a small practice amp. Enjoy and keep playing
Just bought for my son's first guitar, plus a 40 watt fender champion. I play gibson lp's and deans but this is an awesome guitar for the price. Made twice as a better as a reg epi special ll. Was jamming Pantera on it and it sounded great. Plus the guitar looks beautiful and stayed in tune.

Dude, are you playing the original pickups? It doesn't sound bad at all ... This is the cheapest guitar in my collection and really, even though it sounds a bit low compared to others I have, it sounds much better than other more expensive ones ... (without being the best of my collection) ... But I really consider it to be the cheap guitar with the best sound ... I love it and that's why I'm not going to sell it ...

I am impressed that despite being in my collection with more expensive guitars, it has such a particular sound that I end up liking it and none of that range could reach that ...
