- Hey guys! Just showing you my new bag...yes, this is the one I finally settled on and I love it! Its slim, holds all of my gear and looks and feels great. The Domke F-803. Love it!
Great review. I purchased this bag after watching it and it's by far the best bag I've owned. If anyone out there is curious, in the 803 I'm able to fit my Canon EOS 7D faced down with a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 VC with hood attached, with enough room at the bottom for my BlackRapid RS-4 (works as added cushioning) and the battery charger underneath that. I keep to one side the (1) insert for a small prime and Rode Stereo Videomic. Should also fit an EF 70-200 f/2.8 without hood. Bag is still slim!!!
I love the look of the bag but I wish that back pocket had at least a zipper on it, if not a flap. Take that bag to Barcelona, or any other pickpocket mecca, and you'll be lucky to leave with whatever you were keeping in there. This looks like a great travel bag and I guess that back pocket would be good for maps, brochures, or whatnot, but nothing expensive like an iPad.
Cool bag. I too was looking for a thinner bag. I feel that those thicker bags make me look fat, and they're uncomfortable in crowded spaces (which is where I am when I bring my cam). Nice.
Btw, I don't think I would put my Asus Transformer in that pocket that's hitting my hip on every step or two. I think that pocket is meant for documents, and yes, that is exactly what I want.
do you think a speedlight would fit in one of the front flap pockets?

Does it fit 2 bodies (with lenses attached) side by side face down? FYI, D700 with 85 1.4 and D300s with 24 1.4 - no battery grip. Thanks!
How can this guy claim he has found his favorite bag of all the bags he has tried when he hasn't even put anything in there. This is a 'review' based on no field test.

Which insert is this? Doesn't the Domke 3 compartment one have fixed pockets where this one looks like they are moveable? Much prefer this one...
how true is this? i like the look of these bags.. but idk if id like that feeling on my hands.. o.O
I have the wax version and had none of this happen.
I got the larger 802 which is a tad bit longer. Its beast!
I question if this guy even is a pro.
poor review, put into the bag some stuff like body and lenses, and then we see how little is this bag.
This review could have been better.
the wax version is icky. your hands get all waxy and it rubs off.
learn how to focus the camera !!!!
