I loved all of the dresses and all of the skirts. Wow, you got so lucky this time. This prooves once more, that taste is subjective. I loved the velvet skirts and all of the dark ones, black and dark brown skirts. Absolutely my style. They are kind of gothic looking. One can tell, that you had the box from Austria, with all of the Dirndl inspired dresses. Dirndl are the german/austrian folk dresses, usually worn with a white blouse and an apron, but there are also different styles of Dirndl without the apron and blouse underneath. Have fun with this beautiful treasure and blessings from Germany.
I had a bunch of skirts like that in the 80s & 90s. I loved them. Also, I had a number of dresses in that style, but keep in mind, we often wore them a bit loosely so they'd flow. More formal dresses were fitted but the casual dresses weren't.
Hi Elise! I love watching your content. I can tell how much you love your work and life! Your channel is such a peaceful place on the internet, thank you!
I loved the skirts! The thing about owning your place is, you have to cater to other people's likes and I don't think you made a bad choice with the box at all because many people will like those skirts!
Hi Elise, I loved the 3rd skirt you pulled out of box and adored the White one would wear both together and the Black one too .. but I am more of a Steampunk, Witchy Gypsy type and would have liked to see the rest of skirts . The first Dress You pulled was cool too .
I think you are as adorable as the dresses you love, you are such a sweet young lady. My Granddaughter is also Elise, she's 16, and a kind sole as well.
Beautiful dresses you have chosen Elise i loved them & the green skirt looks wonderful with your kimono, i also loved the Little jacket with it. A lovely video altogether. You sound So relaxed, its good to see you looking so well. Have a nice week & Look forward to NexT vlog. 🌻💗🌻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Elise, I loved the beige and black windowpane dress with the solid black front, I was hoping you would have tried it on. Maybe, the next time. Thank you for bringing us your life and styling ideas. All the best this Spring 🌸
I think you need to take the green one and have it altered to fit you because it looks so good on you even though it’s too big it looks great and maybe learn how to alter things or hire someone to do it that way you can fit it or you can fit it to somebody else🥰
Loved the greens and the ways you styled the last skirt 💚 the green dress that is too big on you looks stunning on you though 🥰 thank you for the comfort 🌼
You could totally keep the green one and go to a tailor and get them to tailor the bodice for you. I think it’s worth it. That dress was so great on you! Pockets too!!!
Very nice. They might not be all your style but the Cottage Core style is very popular and people will buy them. My favorites were the patchwork style skirts.
What is most interesting is that many of the clothes back in the 80's were still well made with linings etc. Probably because there were so many more little independent boutiques and you saved to buy a new outfit.
^ Aww i would have loved to see the rest of the skirts, in the box. I am definitely a long skirt kind of Lady. 😌 I Looove that green skirt, You styled by the way. I am a sucker myself for aaanything grEEn.
Hooray.................LOVED this video! My favorite color is GREEN!!! And please, please keep the solid green dress. It looks like a million dollars on you. It truly does not look too big. Thanks for the fun time.
Hi Elise 👋 you need to find a seamstress near you. So many of the clothes you love but are a bit big for you can be fitted for you by a seamstress. They really are more budget friendly than you think. 😊
Loved the box! Can't wait until you have them posted!! I have my eye on some of the skirts and dresses! The dresses looked awesome-sorry the green one didn't fit, but you did look really good in the checkered one that you are keeping! Thank you for posting these videos! I look forward to them.
I absolutely love the vintage dress in cream with embroidered flowers and a green belt at 6:46. I wish you tried it on. I can't wait to see it listed on the webshop! LOVE all of your videos btw.
I've been away to long from these video's my happy time is coming here many times it has been, and it's always good, wishing you all the good to fill your life Beautful 😍🦄⚘🍃
Video idea : style one piece two or three different ways. Repeat and rate with a few different pieces. Loved sleeves of 2nd dress you tried on. Green dress was gorgeous on you,as well !!!
I think the vivid green flowery skirt would be better as curtains in a small hand made kitchen, maybe around the sink bottom, love the blue check and blue denim though, anything blue really and all the dresses are beautiful, not so keen on the velvet skirts but they could be cut up and sold as remnants if they don’t sell.
I like the second dress better than the first, I love the green dress on you, you can take it in a bit at the waist. The light blue one is cute but seems too big on the top,
Stunning dresses, the first one did look great on you, I know why you don’t want to sell it. I loved some of the skirts too, even though they were not quite right for the shop, the velvet ones were gorgeous❤️🌻
i would have loved to see the skirts styled! i know theyre are not your style but they were beautiful nonetheless!!!! as always i love these videos!! living vicariously through your outfit try ons!! its like a playing dress up dream!!! i love it all
i love so much watching you discover all of these pieces, in the second look with the green skirt you looked like alice in wonderland and it is crazy because i personnaly have a more basic style but you made me fall in love with yours, and now when i watch your videos i'm not asking myself : "would i wear it ?" but : "do i think it is beautiful ?", most of the time the answer is yes
It amazes me Elise that when I see a dress on the hanger and think it's not that great then see you wearing it and somehow it transforms to gorgeous! My favourite look today was the green skirt with the kimono. Took my breath away. Utterly gorgeous. ☺️👍💕
I didn’t think the dresses were too big but then I often wear mine looser to “live in them”. Some of them w/ gardening boots or sneakers- to live in everyday would be adorable! I think in some ways it can enhance the body, with movement it flows against body in different places. I loved your hair shorter (your Instagram photo) the layered cut was enhancing, it looked healthier & much fuller! My dream hair! Length weighs hair down. Mine is very healthy but baby , baby fine- like silk so when yours was shorter with that stunning shape the salon gave you , it was my dream hair because it’s the opposite of my silky, fine hair. Boils down to what you like though because we all can have opinions but it’s YOUR hair. 😁
Well, thank goodness for all of the cute dresses. They saved the day after the disappointing skirts. It's nice that you opened the not-so-great bag first.
To me, the Austrin clothing reminds me of fairy tales and fables and maybe even some Disney characters. I could feel sort of Cinderella-ish, Snow White, Lady McBeth, woodsy fair maiden kind of vibes with most of the clothing. I am so sorry the green dress was too large, it was adorable on you. I also LOVED the green lace skirt!!!
The plain skirts that you dismissed as not your style. They are flowy and tiered so classic base garments. They're great foils for other items, whether it's a simple tee shirt or a dressy blouse/jacket. Adaptable pieces like that should sell well for those who like to play around in different style directions. I can't imagine you losing any money on this fabulous box.
Love your videos🌻🌻🌻you have great taste when co-ordinating pieces together. Where do you purchase these vintage mystery boxes? Would love to know😊🌻🌺🌸🌹☘️

There were not many that I didn't like either. Seems a good haul and I would alter the big ones to fit, lovely items. xxxx
Totally agree!

I agree. Comfortable, not tight fit, on bust and shoulders then loose everywhere else for movement within the dress itself.
@@michellebyrom6551 exactly!
Hi Elise! I love watching your content. I can tell how much you love your work and life! Your channel is such a peaceful place on the internet, thank you!
Thank you so much 🥰
I didn’t think the green dress looked too big for you, I thought it looked perfect fit ! Beautiful 😍
I agree.
Elise have you ever considered doing "look book" style videos? I think it'd be cool if you did like 4 per year, one for each season 😁
YEEEEHS PLS

Dress number 2 is a 15/10 for me 😍😍😍😍😍 I wish it was size L, I would have got it right away!

oh my what a beautiful selection of dresses and skirts 😮
Lovely colors and flowing. I am curios where you secured the mystery box from? I have been a bit leary of who is good with these.
