stop zooming into the person talking, we are watching a Battlegrounds video not a podcast. i would suggest if you wanted to emphasize the person talking do it in a way the gameplay is still on screen.

Really not a fan of the edit on this one. Way too many cuts, zoom ins etc. Made the first part of the game incredibly disorientating.
Maybe just have both taking up half the screen or something before the game started? Yeah just switch switch switch switch switch.
Agree, too much switching. Also don't know why you have to have the speech text onscreen all the time. Keep it simple.

I feel the same. I guess its a way to make the video more entertaining and more attention grabbing, but I watch the videos to relax and I dont want to feel like watching instagram reels lol

i understand the difficulty with the new editing style, two commentators is definitely a switch up from the laid back comment every other round of combat shady. I think a consistent format around the text on screen would be great if possible, overlapping them is confusing.

Okay, I see a lot of people saying the editing was distracting, so I will be the dissenting voice. The editing was perfect in my opinion. The banter and personality in both the editing and the conversation is what makes your content stand out the most from other streamers' content and why when I don't have time to watch all the content on my list, I still always watch your two videos. Obviously, you do you. But I want to make sure you and your editor understand I appreciate this style and would love to see it continue this way.

Understandable opinion but imagine if you are watching any other type of game genre and this was the editing style. There is more down time in the first few turns in BGS but still doesnt make it good to over edit
@@Klutzc oh, not even any other game or genre we can compare to other Hearthstone streamers. I mean, I would never expect this editing from basically any other Hearthstone streamer.
But this is Shady's channel and that is why I watch Shady above all other streamers. This editing is always a bit extra, the style is more goofy and fun than straight forward gameplay. This is exactly what I would expect, I'd say even higher quality and a bit more extra than I'd expect. And I love it. It's fun, it's goofy, it is entertaining.
I'd like to agree with hardymasonj, I was really rather surprised to scroll down and see this negative feedback. This video had me smiling often, and I could follow the game just fine. I liked this new format a LOT!

I like how this game shows that high roll won't win you the game, even with that crazy turn 4 all other opponent are still incredibly strong and if not executed so greatly like shady does it's still a easy top 6 lose

The editing made this hard to watch. The constent cuts make it less about the game and more about the editing. Its a shame because this seems like such a cool game to showcase.
Honestly i agree with this, but sometimes i appreciate the gameplay more than a whole family guy reference in the mix. If you know the reference its funny but adding the whole thing is meh
the out of context "edgy" aka racist family guy bit is not appreciated by at least one viewer. i used to enjoy most of family guy, but theyve got some problematic stuff that can't be explained away by irony/mocking the mocker.
edit: before ppl jump down my throat im a long time viewer/sub, just a small criticism of the edit choice. no big deal
