“Is it Gavin” ? Lol so cute
Came back here to say thanks for making this video. Genuinely. I first heard the band through this video and 5 years later they’re my favorite band of all time
"he just looks like some dude and then BUUUARRRGGHHH" - Yep thats John Mess. The rad dad hahaha
The joy in your face as DGD blew your mind for the first time. Sub’d
5:55 - 6:14 is exactly what turned me into a fan after listening to one of their songs.
My first time here, I'm here as I saw it was about Dance Gavin Dance and I really enjoyed learning your thoughts on his style. I love these guys and it is for the fact they are so unique in this genre. Great video. Thanks
I love tillian bc hes literally the dude moms tell their daughters about when they say dont date musicians haha
Man I can’t believe how far these guys have come.. i haven’t heard their new stuff, but I grew up with these guys
listen to deception by them ...
I DONT NEEEEEED YOOOOUUUUUU
Maramorha he goes so high with that one it’s unreal
That, and their cover of Semi Charmed Life. That fuckin high note, dude.
That distortion in his voice is his natural to him. When he talks he has that grit to his speach which gives him that awesome sound only I've ever heard from him in this genre of music
Protest the hero pls
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Oh fuck yeah!
Sequoia throne song!!
cool
Mist
My all time favorite band ever god I just ADORE them
If you're looking for more from these guys I might suggest Count Bassy or Midnight Crusade. They're a fantastic group.
Favorite band since high school. Perfection
How did you not listen to jonny craig? His voice when he was in DGD was amazing.
dance gavin dance is probably one of the best bands you could come across because all their songs are so welcoming and likable
2 seconds into video i hit the thumbs up button. im obligated to thumb up anything about DGD. okay now back to the video.
I love the mix of all the different styles. Just a joy to listen too. Never heard them before, but will begin to listen for sure!

The name "Dance Gavin Dance" was derived by then lead singer Jonny Craig who's the former lead vocalist of the band since 2005 (replaced by Tilian). He named the band I honour of a band mate/friend named Gavin who unfortunately passed away.
RIP Gavin 🙏
7fp,
He is hitting the high notes by flipping into them, not by being percussive on the consonants
I have never seen your videos before but this is one of my favorite bands ever sobI clicked your video when I randomly saw it and well, now I clicked subscribe also.
It’s really interesting how you break things down with Tillians voice. Good job 👍🏽
Also, all dance Gavin dance fans, they released a new amazing song called Lyrics Lie. Check it out :) album coming 4/23? I believe
Dude you made me smile so much with your reaction, instant subscibed, i hope you consistently put out such wholesome reactions
You need to do some Alesana 🤘❤️
saw them in Denver this year! Absolute Delight!
I guess Tilian wasnt happy with these live recrodings. His voice got tired during this tour, and it took a toll on his voice.
I didn't know Tillian smoked, damn. Kurt Travis smoked and that really fucked with his high notes
Post Amerika cigs + tour + trying to sing like a girl as a man
@@vinny1537 his voice is naturally that high you ignorant piece of bread
@@ObstructTheTide oh for sure. He has way more than what hes showing here. I know that without a doubt.
Not in this vid, honestly.
Dance Gavin Dance is tremendous! Saw them live last summer in Rochester absolutely beautiful live performance.
This must have been the end of a set because honestly their voices sound kind of worn out for them.
Btw: God I miss the Warped Tour...
this was so cool seeing you get excited watching this. they are great
Another interesting and awesome singing/hardcore band is ISSUES they were a great band with a really unique sound. Would like to see a review of them by you.
Zack Rowe I just started listening to ISSUES. Definitely a good suggestion for her to review.
gino sneed go listen to woe is me. The singer actually tried in that band
They kicked out Michael Bohn. Its going to be interesting to see what direction their new stuff goes without their unclean vocalist
Will Swan's sick guitar playing eccentuates Tillian's voice so perfectly.
I love seeing her reaction. DGD is my favourite band because of the mixtures of genres and execution. Also the name Gavin came from a pet turtle
So happy for someone to finally give this band some praise
Btw DGD for life my #1 favorites artist in the world
Modern classic. Feeling blessed to have so much amassing music at my fingertips
been a DGD since day once and i can say theyve always had a good following and a lot of people have always liked them, just getting bigger nd bigger
You have to do some DBM2 Jonny Craig erra stuff now!
I love this band and now I love you. Good on you for being so open to new music.
If you want to hear some high Male vocals listen to Circa Survive. Preferably something from Juturna or On Letting Go
Hey! Here is my reaction to Anthony: ruclips.net/video/6gFFlpmX9pc/видео.html
Definitely one of my favorite bands. I get to see them in April!! Glad you reacted to this!!!
Alternative title: vocal coach wow reacts hearing tillian the first time
